I've been reading this thread, and it seems to have a lot of choice outside of this, so I find it weird you're 100% forced into a sex scene. If this is is the only time it happens I could probably just bear with it. (RIP the peeps who wanted to be 100% gay tho)

I think every other sex scene is optional. I usually only go for scenes were MC is in control and some other scenes that are kinda needed to progress some routes (like Beatrice).
Edit: I just read the patreon post and I want to ask the dev to not make UI change to pink at high feminity. I kinda dislike that colour and believe that there are much better alternatives like red, or tyrian purple specifically.

The sex scenes are pretty much all going to have POV artwork, yes. The player’s appearance can vary wildly based on how you choose to create them, so the only options are POV artwork, or a “canon” player appearance.
The anime version has quite a bit more content. The rendered artist has been unable to work on the project for some time, but was going to resume, so I still offered the rendered version. However, they have informed me that they won’t be able to continue working with me due to health issues, so the rendered version is likely to be discontinued.
It is unavoidable, though if you hold ctrl you can skip through it rather quickly. Katie is very assertive in the scene, but I intended for the writing to show the player was going along with things and enjoying themselves, so it wasn’t supposed to come off as really being forced.
The vast majority of scenes are optional, but there are a few places I can think of that aren’t. There is one other scene with Katie that can’t be avoided, but in that situation it’s a tentacle monster type thing forcing the two of you to make out with each other, but it is also written with the mindset of the player enjoying it, so it shouldn’t feel any worse than the first scene with Katie did for you. Also, with the boss of the second dungeon, there are a series of scenes with her, whether you win or lose. Someone else requested an option to skip those though, which I intend to add soon.
There are a few, but I didn’t exactly specify the genders of the characters in the changlog. Version 0.17 has a new alleyway groping event, and all of those events are m/m so far. Also, one of the corrupting slime enemies is male, sort of. It’s a slime creature, so it’s really just how it configures its body, but it turns into a slender man with a cute face and a very large cock, if that helps.
Version 0.18 has two more alleyway groping scenes, a blowjob scene with a random bar patron if you’ve grown your lips several times, a new scene with the “Hunk” character in the third dungeon, if you lose to the final slime miniboss first.
Do you like either of these colors? I can look at different shades and such, but I think pink is very universally the feminine color, so it makes sense to use it for the feminine U.I. shift. If you really don’t like it, you can easily edit the image files and force the game to use your preferred color.

I understand if you don't really want to get into a semantics talk, but for me the fact that she just groped and fondled the MC without warning, along with how the MC tried to get out from under her and then stop her from taking off his underwear were signs of him being against it, but she just ignored it and had sex with him anyway. I get that soon after he became more willing and receptive, but to me it's kinda how in like 90% of rape porn/games the person getting raped ends up enjoying it, you know? (not saying they're exactly the same, just how it made me feel)
If the MC was around as receptive as he was at the end right from the start I'd be more fine with it. I personally don't really liked mandatory sex scenes in general, but I understand the difficulty in making a coherent game/story where you always have that sorta choice while also trying to keep consistency.
As for the other scene you mentioned, as long as it's just kissing her and nothing else I'll probably be fine, and since you're adding the option to skip the other that's fine too, but I do have to ask if you're ever planning on going back and making those Kate scenes optional like you are that 2nd dungeon boss scene? Like I said, I get it if you aren't, but if you at least made the MC more willing from the beginning I'd really appreciate it.
I honestly had to go back and read through the scene again, because it’s been over a year since I wrote it, but I somewhat see what you mean now. My point of view on why the player tries to wiggle free is because they are worried about Katie noticing their erection after introducing themself to her as a girl, but you could totally read it as a desire to be free of her entirely. I really don’t know why I wrote the bit about trying to keep their underwear on though. I’ll tweak those two parts of the scene a bit, to feel less forced.
Also I should note that the other scene is kissing and some nipple play between Katie and the player, but the tentacle monster does a bit more to the two of them, neither the player nor Katie really complain though.
The 2nd dungeon boss scene is going to be skippable mostly because it’s a condensed week of events in the dungeon, so it’s rather hard to just use ctrl to skip through it. I’ll probably just tweak the first scene with Katie, and let players manually skip it if they wish.
Could you go into more detail on what the tentacle monster does? Sorry if this sounds whiny, and nothing against the game, but tentacles are one of my least favorite fetishes (like on the level of scat for me), so if that's forced I'd really appreciate knowing to what extent.

I thought the underwear thing was because Katie didn't know you had a penis and you wanted to hide it from her. Definitely gonna have to check that scene again. Haven't fully read it in a while.
Also, thanks for letting us have the option to skip the second dungeon ending. I really appreciate that. Definitely make it easier to go through now.
That was probably the idea, but since it happens after she feels you press against her down there, it just doesn't make any sense. And I haven't added in the ability to skip the ending of the second dungeon just yet, I'll be patching that in in a few days or so.

I really wanted to like this game, but even trying to get past the Wall of Text that is most encounters the town and gameplay feels a bit antiquated. Also I maybe in the minority, but I like the anime shots better than the 3d ones. But over all it just needs more pictures to support the frame work, and probably an editor to cut into the lengthy text.

Isn't what you are saying is that on the scale of "point and click" to "verbose novel" you prefer something closer to the point and click end; My feeling is that the balance here suits the dev's story telling style (including their use of humour); I think the amount of text does slow down the game interactions but I just don't see that as a problem; If the text were shortened I feel it would detract from the level of immersion I enjoy;

Yes pink is the feminine colour but from my interactions with women, I have never met one that told me its her favourite colour, and its a rarity for me to see women that wear pink.
Pink is mostly liked by little girls, who play with dolls or bimbos.

I'm with you there. It's playing to cliches, but from an actual feminine perspective it's very Barbie - you associate it with little girls. There are particular shades, I do like a coral pink or a peach color on some clothes, but if you're looking through colors and what they'd signal you might think about playing around with it a bit.

You could even make the argument that if think that the main character actually embraces being a woman and you have said in earlier messages that the mc can completely see themselves as a woman than you got mostly lesbian content. Just depends if you want the mc to be guy that loves to crossdress or being a woman. Which is always a good approach. With how the game is named it is clear were the general intention is, but you have explained it nicely before and left things more open for everyone themselves.
Still really have to give the game more of a try. RPGM still slows everything down so much for me, but I just should force myself through it more. Big fan of just giving me walls of texts though, instead of just slowly clicking through text boxes.

type of illustration. anime uses 2d pics (also includes a few cgs for scenes that rendered doesn't have), rendered uses 3d model for characters (examples of both in OP). Dude that made the 3d models can't anymore, so I recommend just going for the anime version.
