To each their own, I love sandbox games. You can set the pacing, search around and decide what you want to see and do.
I like to discover the stuff and grind can be good as long as it is made interesting and not too much.
In a lot of VN the erotic dies because you HAVE to go through walls of text and scenes for the story to progress.
At the beginning I quite liked Dreams of desire and Shut up and Dance but I got tired of going through all the story parts that had nothing to do with the porn aspects. That quickly killed the mood.
Granted, there are VN that make it way better but I would not generally say that a VN is better than Sandbox.
Regarding the game, it looks nice and I like the tags. I will definately look into itafter there are more updates.
My favorite genre is grind and sandbox. Big brother, superpowered, lucky mark, foot of the mountains and etc. Sandbox games allow players to spend a lot of time in the game. And you don't have to worry about too much text. I like to read. But I read books. I don't perceive text in visual novels. But everyone has their own tastes. I can say with confidence that some of my favorite developers are Tora productions. They make great games! And I respect them for what they are doing completed games.
I want to make completed games, this is my main goal. But at the moment I understand that it is not profitable. If I release a finished game, no one will pay attention to it. If I will be have a large fan base, I will be happy to start making only completed games. But at the moment, unfortunately, it doesn't make sense. That's why I release games in versions
