Hi everyone,
I’m just back from vacation and slowly getting back to work — so here’s a quick update to keep you in the loop.
I’ve received a good number of
illustrations for the upcoming update, though a few are still missing before I can complete the build that will
wrap up Emily’s first week and close out
Chapter 1.
Moral pathing adjustments
While I wait for the remaining visuals, I’ve started revisiting some earlier passages to make
Emily’s morality system more impactful on the game’s branching logic.
This won’t affect your current saves — don’t worry — but if you restart the game in the future, you might notice
slightly different pathing options depending on Emily’s
karma (positive or negative).
Some routes will now be
blocked or unlocked based on her moral trajectory, as I felt the game was occasionally too permissive and wanted to raise the stakes of certain decisions.
Alpha release?
I don’t have a firm release date for the
Alpha just yet, but my goal is to make it available
within the next few weeks, depending on illustration delivery and final testing.
