I've just spoken with a Chinese player who also purchased the game.
072 Project have butchered the Chinese translation they were contracted to undertake.
Apparently the "Chinese" alternates between being "incomprehensible" and "weird".

It is weird indeed. Maybe some troll or angry customer reported it.
Also good to know that even the chinese players are getting the short end of the stick.
And the dev made a full contract with 072project lol.

For multiple games, apparently. It's quite shocking.
I'd love to see the contract to see what kind of clauses there are about refunding/getting out of it given how piss-poor a job they've done.

Dev himself doesnt have that many games thats the worse part.
And id imagine the contract must have a clause that helps 072 wash their hands of a bad job
If the corruptive aspect was what you enjoyed, and perhaps you like hypnosis, you should check out Rise of Corruption, the intro doesn't do it proper justice, but past that, and the initially hard to get into art style, it's perhaps the best corruption-esque game I've played, Crypts Rend being the other:

Checked the unlocked scenes and even Succubus Corruption is lame lol, its just tanned skin with a tattoo.

Are you fucking kidding me????? I wouldn't even mind a lack of physical TFs since mental changes are the point of Corruption but just giving a tan and calling it a succubus is downright insulting

Crypts Rend is like okay... but its sequel is far better in almost everyway.
Yeah this game was in my playlist but I was always skeptical, and since one friend here already shared the saves I dived into it. Mental corruption could be great, Star Knightess Aura is all about that, but if you are showing physical transformation more effort should be done than just tanning the girl and changing her name to Evil Girl Name or something.
Any idea how to get the achievement "The rend of the sword"?

And thats why its better to use the saikey tl of the game.
One thing people should always expect from 072 project= bad localization quality.
Considering how sophisticated AI translation is these days it's actually rather impressive they were able to fuck up this localization this bad.
I think even for the AI translation you have to know how to word it, and then edit it a bit.
Feels like they just go "hey, chatgpt, translate this" and then a whole lotta "hey chatgpt, it throws this error" until playtesting works.
