Unlocked actions don't have a goal even if you had reached the previous goal normally, so I'd guess they are just not in this update.
Also, a suggestion to the dev: could we get rid of the new action unlocked notification (highlighting and exclamation mark) after the day is over even if you didn't click them? It's very annoying to go over every one of them just to get rid of it when you get a bunch at once in later loops
Yes, I wasn't kidding when I said that R1f didn't have much new playable content. Interface elements that hint at stuff to come are going to gradually keep showing up over the next couple of releases as I get everything ready, but it won't actually be possible for players to access it until Release 2 proper.Ahh gotcha. Did you figure out how to get the Ruler fulfillment achievement then? I didn't really notice any new content other than that at the end.

Maybe add an explanation of the looply and its utility option to the hints--it took me an embarrassingly long period of time to figure out, because the weekly auto option has a game crash in the 1f version, so I shied away from that section. If you save with that active and close, the game won't launch anymore.
The fix is to rename the save folder, start the game, change the name back, and then load.

This update adds full support for female protagonists to the game. Most scenes already had appropriate text variants to reflect the protagonist's gender, but the romance scenes were notably missing. Now, those scenes have been filled in, and the download hub has been updated to include an image pack for female protagonists. Instructions for how to use this pack are included with the game download.
Adding male versions of the major characters will be considerably more work, which means that I won't be doing it in a single update like this. Instead, it'll be done on an "according to demand" basis. If you're particularly eager to see one of the characters get a male version, then let me know! And let me know whether you'd prefer to prioritize scenes that involve a male or female version of the protagonist at the same time.
For now, the game also now has a couple of completely new romance scenes (which already have versions for female protagonists included). First is the new Hashimoto scene, since she was the winner of the previous poll. Triggering this scene is pretty easy, since it just requires leaving the college town and returning a second time after triggering her first scene, so it's simply a matter of completing the story quickly enough to leave time for all this travelling back and forth. A new scene poll will be coming soon, and as before, Hashimoto will be taking a break from this one in order to allow the other heroines a chance to catch up.
This release also features quite a bit of new Jackal-related content! Her main storyline now has another scene which touches on the darkness of her past and the chaos which shaped her orderly worldview. This directly leads into her romance route, which is triggered by using (but not overusing) the new routine she unlocks. The first scene isn't sexual, because that's just how Jackal rolls, but the second scene (which does involve sex) is also included in this release.
The new storyline scene requires a lot of goal progress, and it's hard to spend a lot of time with Jackal, which means that this romance route is the most difficult yet. I'd recommend having at least 1000 Meaning of Life before attempting it - and gaining the Truthseeker achievement first might be a good idea too. You'll need to finish Jackal's storyline with at least 2 weeks to spare in order to have time to trigger both of her romance scenes.
Players will notice that the new routine unlocked by Jackal is completely useless in this version. As you might expect, the first attribute which goes with it will be part of Release 2. Happily, this means that even though this was a romance-focused release, we've still made some progress toward Release 2 at the same time.
Next month's release will be far more firmly focused on reaching Release 2. Most of the work will be spent on the gameplay side, but I'll try to write another scene or two of the Metropolis storyline just to make the wait a bit more bearable.
There are two things that could be causing this to happen:Even after applying the extra image set pack (the lesbian set one) the game still seems to show images for the mc with a penis and the h-scenes seem to play like that too. Atleast Dumont's did.
Yeah my bad it was the latter. Protagonist gender seems to have switched to male when I loaded a save file to check the h-scene. Rechecked again, seems to be working perfectly! My main confusion arose due to the fact that there were some images in the default pack that had no female mc counterpart so they didn't end up getting overwritten and stayed there.There are two things that could be causing this to happen:
1) The default male images weren't actually overwritten. If the H-scene text refers to the protagonist as being female, then this is what's happening. You should check to make sure that, when you copy the files over, the game asks you to overwrite what's already there.
2) The protagonist is still set to be a male in the options menu, and so the game is referring to CG variants which don't have a female protagonist equivalent. In this case, the later part of the scene should switch back to female POV images (because most of the male POV images shouldn't even exist in the assets folder anymore after being overwritten).
I actually tried to make a copy of the game as a fun little side project a few months ago. I tried it in Godot first, but gave up when trying to recreate the Java JProgressbar that this game uses. Apparently, Godot has awful masking options and its just not possible to make the loading bar.I know this probably seems like a tall order, but ever consider rewriting in HTML/JS? If the performance issues are really with drawing the UI, that issue would vanish. The game would also be a lot more accessible.

The UI of the game would work great in HTML: text on the left, picture on the right, bunch of buttons and menus here and there. Easy to stretch and mod and theme. Running in the browser is great because nobody has to worry about any malware. Browsers are really good at showing text and images together.I tried again in Html and Javascript but I have no idea how to create a game in Html and when it got mad at me for trying to organize code into multiple files, I just gave up.

My current record is 521 MoL with 42k invested. This is done via focusing on vitality growth early game while abusing vulnerable to push early relationships as hard as I can, Tanaka ends up at lvl 5 before day 32 for example. Then making use of lockpick and generous to unlock all lab actions where I switch to clothing+self destructive and grind academics while alternating between debate, game dev, and endurance testing(training?) when stamina permits. Late game is a matter of ensuring trained body is unlocked, unlocking actions in the city from maxing the country club, learning the language in one action thanks to the club, and trying to lower HP as much as possible while lvling wetwork at the same time for polymath points. Once I'm in the city I use trained body (this adds HP once enabled, so you want to turn it on at the college town and burn that), clothes, and self destructive. For the first ~19 days I'll push vitality, finances, and charisma as much as possible then switch to triumphant and daydream while visiting Tanaka and alternating between check in and have some drinks when needed.

The responsiveness is MUCH better in the later versions! I just jointed the $5 patreon, and R1h is so much better. I skipped g, so maybe it doesn't have the improvement yet.Started this game last night and it ate up hours and hours like nothing.
Not sure I want to continue though, the responsiveness of the UI is godawful, and the added progress on subsequent loops was less than I'd hoped for.

Mouse over the stat bar to see what it does. Vitality increases your total Stamina, which affects your cap, but as all the recovery actions are % based, it also increases your regeneration.what does vitality even do? Or any of the stats. I would have thought that vitality would make actions take less stamina but it doesn't appear to.
