Okay, so somebody says truthseeker achievement is possible on the 5th loop. But I have no idea how to get there.

This is 30+ loops
Help desperately wanted I'm wondering if I'm bad at the game
Nobody is bad at the game honestly. It's just not that kind of game, unless you consider *not* speedrunning the achievements being bad. I am currently sitting at like 2k+ loops with around 2.5M MoL and I spent a significant portion of my earlier loops just daydreaming everyday to get a measly like 40 something MoL per loop. Just remember you can eventually do literally everything in this game with enough upgrades. There is no 'game over' so to speak. If you are looking for advice on how to make your loops more efficient tho look for a long message by TofuCircle a couple messages back, they spell it out very nicely.

My post here https://f95zone.to/threads/cultivation-spiral-release-2d-justice-csdev.239086/post-18414702 has the L5 run in spoilers.

You're ahead enough that there are most likely faster ways to get Truthseeker, but this at least should show what goals you can be aiming for and(more importantly) which ones you can ignore. You also don't need to hit all of those goals within the timeframe I set. most of them have several days of wiggle room. Also, I'd completely ignore Magnetism and reduce Finances to 6.

I did wonder how much mol you'd attain by daydreaming 100 days.

Initially I tried following that guide for 3 to 5 loops before crashing out.
Then I moved onto a R1 hall of fame guide posted here, then modifying its second half and after 5 to 10 loops crashing out again.
Later I succeeded, I realized I was bad at the game after I dropped attending classes, I was doing so because "abandoning" Yumeno guilt trips me. Also I was doing the first 20 some runs by hand because I hadn't understood you could set previous loop choices as default OR the game could run automatically.

Not relevant but discovering what happened to Tanaka was sad af

Yeah...That was a running error I made trying to progress. Kept using up the early days getting Tanaka's relationship to 1. In the early loops, you are limited in time thanks to your Meaning Of Life skills. Learning to abandon certain goals to focus on others really helps to accomplish feats and advance further until you get more MOL skills.

I haven't been able to replicate this issue. Can you tell me exactly what inputs cause this bug to happen?
I use mouse clicks. I only ever use mouse clicks. I used keyboard shortcuts for a bit during my very first loop, and my brain just did not vibe with them for some reason

When autoing, the Next button is converted into the Pause button, to the right of it is the Auto button which is now green. I click Pause. It bugs

I wrote everything I remember here. Some (looking at you, Feats) may be wrong, because the Feats tell you what unlocks what MOL upgrade, but once you get the Feat that part of the description just deletes itself
I uhh, don't really remember when I was there, because it's been... almost a whole year. I'm just gonna list things I know and hope it helps. You're gonna have to sort out the advice into stuff useful for you and useless to you based off what you can accomplish during your loops

Hashimoto questline leads to Debate action, which provides Self Destructive stance (+100 stamina's worth of goal and stat progress for actions requiring 40 or more stamina). This combos really good with Eye Catching Attire (Tanaka questline) or Ostentatious Clothes (DuMont mansion work questline). Some actions are below 40 stamina, but get raised to 40 stamina with those clothes

The earlier parts of Hashimoto and DuMont questlines also leads to Larceny Kit and Generous, which combos well for goal progress

Following DuMont's club questline tells you about a job in Metropolis and gives you an alternate language learning option in the afternoon(?). The best part is this action costs 45 stamina if you equip any of the two clothes, so you can combo with Self Destructive and finish it fast. Much faster than the other actions for studying in your room by yourself. Though you could also just do both of them

Completing Hashimoto's questline (finding the truth in the tower) should give you an MOL upgrade for academics? It's pretty hard since it's a 250k goal I think. But academics lvls increase how much stats you get from actions, and the upgrade increases how much it increases stat gain, so super useful!

If you don't have enough stamina to be spamming high cost actions with clothes and self destructive, you can just use larceny kit and generous. Just abandon DuMont's questline after you unlock generous / get enough finance lvls to use larceny kit. The extra goal progress and free daily finance xp from larceny kit should be enough to get you to Metropolis if you have high enough finance discount

Master Your Popularity goal buffs relationship modifiers based off your Charisma lvl. Relationships buff related goal progress and stats!! Matters if you will get high Charisma and can complete that goal without spending too many days on it. Also early. Gotta get MYP early-mid loop. NOT super early since you won't have enough focus, but early enough that it's buffs are worth the amount of actions and equipment swaps you go through for them

If you don't think you can complete DuMont's club questline and unlock the other learning language path in time. I think train focus and stamina, rush larceny and generous first, then use those to do Hashimoto's questline and Jackal's investigation. Remember to spend your health on stand guard and stuff. Self Destructive needs 20 hp or below to activate. The MOL upgrade for Wetworks actually makes it harder to use Self Destructive. Eye Catching Attire or Ostentatious Clothes + Self Destructive some tower actions to get academics up, the higher the level the more stats you get! Then it's focus time, game dev with Yumeno should cost 75 stamina. Lots of focus and Yumeno relation! Then spend the rest of your loop grinding the study action with larceny kit and generous

I wish there was a feature that allows you to store loop patterns past the immediate one before
It sucks when you try something new only to get worse results and your only options are restart the loop or rebuild a previous pattern, but it's hard to remember what went wrong (I got lazy with auto feature (I'm picking options semi randomly))
Restarting wouldn't be so bad if the loops weren't 30-45 minutes long

I also wish there was a gallery at least for the 2 unreplayable underworld scenes (1st loop and nemesis loop) were rewatchable. I didn't set a savepoint for them and I probably forgot a lot of details already

Small issues
Paladin colored text is hard to read on dark mode. Maybe have a lighter palette for it if settings are on dark
A portion of the mc's thoughts/narration in Lancia's chainsaw scene is written in white font. Readable in dark mode, but it's invisible in default (accidental rp as blindfolded Lancia's pov lol)

And how are you supposed to get pre-abduction Tanaka's scene? I used the eye catching attire very rarely but I couldn't get it to proc.

I think the dev was talking about this somewhere. Having a new auto-action mode that retains the actions of the loop you've done that generated the most MoL. Probably not exactly what you had in mind but might be close enough.

Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can track the bug down.

Yes, a "best run so far" auto mode is definitely planned. I'd also like to implement a customizable "follow the actions of the run from this save file" option, in part because it's make debugging a lot easier for me.

Anyway, R2e has now been publicly released! The release post is below. One extra note to keep in mind when playing this release is that a new "private jet" action was mistakenly enabled in R2e, and it's in somewhat of a bugged state here. Most players probably won't even run into it, since it requires completion of the country club storyline and a pretty high Finances level for the College Town, but in any case it won't work properly until R2f.

The main focus of this release is two new romance scenes! Jackal's route now has a second scene, and its unlock condition is straightforward. You just need a week to pass after the first scene (along with raising her relationship level and your Wetwork skill, but if you're strong enough to start Jackal's route with that much time to spare, then the requirements should still be pretty easy).

The first scene of Heilig's route is also here, and it's considerably more difficult. I wouldn't recommend attempting it until you've already obtained the Nemesis achievement. You need to meet Heilig and use the Endurance training action while wearing Eye-catching attire before ever leaving the city, and you need to be able to pay the entire large Stamina cost. Then, you need to go to The Metropolis, Challenge Paladin twice (it's fine to use the Syndicate uniform for this), then return and perform Endurance training while wearing Eye-catching attire again. Throughout all of this, you must not use the Cancer juice. Even meeting Paladin before Day 100 is quite hard to do, but you can view this route as a practice run for a Release 3 Achievement which will require a similar feat.

Finally, the main plot has also been slightly extended. After Paladin is defeated, she now has a new goal whose completion will significantly alter the event on Day 150. This is the path that will lead to Release 3 content, and while it's currently blocked off in the code, the structure of the following actions, goals, and routines has begun to come together. This time, I'll try to do a better job of making sure that Release 3 content remains hidden until Release 3 is actually out (in order to avoid any confusion over which Achievements are obtainable in the current version), but I've already begun my playtesting of the early parts in the development version.

The next release will include significantly more immediately-player-visible content, since I'm going to be filling out the placeholder scenes deeper into Tanaka's route in the Metropolis, as well as DuMont's country club route which allows you to reach the Metropolis without investigating Tanaka's abduction. In addition to filling out the placeholder scenes, the country club route will also involve a new gameplay mechanic involving Finances and an alternative method for meeting Lancia. It might take more than one release to do all of this, since they'll involve some very significant plot differences (especially on Day 150), but once this is done, the next priority will be code improvements, quality-of-life features, and the completing-multiple-goals-with-one-action-special-flavor system. I'll also be posting a poll for the next romance scene in a couple of days, so keep an eye out for that!
