100% agree. This is an embarrassing "update." I started playing 0.5 and was excited at the potential of it. When 0.6 came out, it removed some of the paths but reshaped others with the promise that the older stuff removed would be readded back in. None of the older stuff has come back in, infact more has been removed. I havent seen anything with Robert yet so im guessing hes been removed aswell.
By the looks of it, when 0.5 came out, the Dev had a clear idea of where the game was going. A straight to Z. When 0.6 came out, the Game changed to give you multiple ways to play the game but the Story stayed linear and you had to do everything to get to the end of the routes which i find frustrating as anything. This game asks you to mark yourself with a Queens of Spades tattoo before you even get to the point of fucking black guys. You can do it but you are grinding to get there. It makes no sense and loses that tiny bit of realism for me.
The game is built on variables and triggers but the dev does not use them properly. This game (in my opinion i might add) needs a defined "blacked vs bleached" branching story. The intro is fine(ish) but i would rewrite that aunt story because her coming straight in at the start already cock deep in an incestuous story with your brother is bonkers. But that could be a jumping off point for a bleached story. There should be certain characters that take you down a bleached story (Aunt Jemma, Hannah, Jessica etc), as there already is with a blacked story (Freddy, Kim, Yoonji?). The game literally asks you at one point do you prefer black guys or white guys. Theres your trigger for the branching story, you can create a save there for a bleached run and a blacked run.
