As far as I know, the only way is to play the Japanese 2.5 version. The Japanese version is fully playable in translated english. You wont have as much access to mods though with 2.5.

Get CMI, it will uncensor the game and give you male bodies that are not transparent. Do not recommend getting 2.5, the lack of support from the community for it is not worth it.

Don't upgrade to COM3D2.5. You will thank yourself.
CMI does provide uncensor for male/female but you need a certain dlc to have the textures for non-transparent male character. Any reputable eng COM repack that you can find should already include that dlc.

Does anyone know how to get a steam save to work on this version? My steam save is much further along before I got this version and I kindof don't wanna redo all those days worth of training.

I think you need to have at least the same dlc configuration as you had back then. You can have more but not less.
Steam version might save in MyDocuments by default. The version from here or whatever saves in COM3D2\SaveData.
For COM to work with the inner SaveData folder as it should you must remove serialize_storage_config.cfg if it exists and move your old saves from MyDocuments to SaveData. All *.save and *.save.exsave.xml files go directly in SaveData. No subfolders.
SaveData from ENG and JAP version are not cross compatible.

I also have some mods and old cmi installed will it caused any issue?

My Steam version had no dlc outside of the 18+ one while my version I'm using now is the one from here which has all the dlc. It doesn't seem to work at all and gives me an error whenever it tries to load the save.

update your game to latest version. if that doesn't work I'm out of ideas. If you used maidfiddler in the past it might have broken the save
Also the version from here isnot even close to having "all dlc". It's nearly 3 year old.
You could technically do a hash check with the torrent client and resume downloading the 2024 version over the 2023 one... It should in theory update the files that are different and leave everything else alone. Make a backup of your save and presets just in case. You don't really need to download CM again if you have it already. Doing this will override you current settings and you will have to redo the COM-CM link and probably setup everything again.
Or you can do it the hard way and go to the ulmf thread and download the remaining dlc manually from the guide. Also you will have to update to latest version or stay on 2.37.0 for the time being

Hi, what kind of content is in CM3D2 that cannot be transferred to COM3D2? I ask that because I'm trying to decide if there is any reason to play CM3D2 before switching to COM3D2 and linking the two?
Getting this error now also it delete around 5 gb of data in folder as soon as I started it.

I haven't used the maid fiddler before. My buddy just had the game on steam and so I started it up. The only thing I did was buy the 18+ dlc to make them naked and installed it. Are you saying the Steam version without any dlc is technically newer than this one? For the record I might've fucked something up as the steam version now can't load the save from it either :/

I already said that you have to redo the COM-CM link.
As to why it deleted 5gb of data... that shouldn't have happened.
DLC deletion happens when you update from 2.39.0 to 2.39.2 because kiss fucked up at some point but CMU 2024 was updated from a way older version directly to 2.39.2. Try hash checking the torrent and restore the files but I suspect it will delete the files again if it triggers some flags from the update.lst

I have a cracked English version of this game. I saw in the manual you have in the FAQ portion that it's " technically" possible to connect the Mod to an english version. I downloaded your compatibility patch to fill in the gaps. But after I also downloaded the ultimate 2024 edition, I don't know what to pull from there. Even if you don't want you answer it, can you point me to the specific part in your manual to help me out?

Ultimate 2024 is japanese version. Instructions from eng version don't apply to it. Go to the ulmf threada and read instruction from there.

hey man sorry for writing you in response of this comment but i read you guide and im not sure if i understand, all the listed mod are preinstalled when i finish of install the game? or i need to choose the mod i want, download these mods and then install? i dont sure either if i understand all the process, maybe i just need to do every step calmly and when i got the game do the other things? i want the install the version for apply more personalitys and clothes, is this the japanese version im wrong? or i can install the english version and apply all those things?
