Didn't see these posted and don't have the most recent one but here's two of the last three Dev Updates;
Dev update #183
Hi!
With Episode 7.1 behind us, Season 2 is now officially wrapped up.
I’ll be honest—the release wasn’t particularly successful. In fact, it was the least profitable launch I’ve had in over a year. Most likely because the build was leaked shortly after release. But that’s behind me now. I’m fully focused on the next step: the Steam release.
All achievements, extra render rewards, and related features are already coded and working. However, due to recent (and unfortunately successful) censorship efforts by payment processors on Steam, I requested an additional content review for Season 2—just to be safe. It’s been a week since I submitted it, and I haven’t heard back yet. Normally, reviews take a few business days, but with the stricter rules lately, delays are expected.
Am I worried? I’m doing my best not to be. The game is still fairly vanilla overall. And even if one scene ends up being too much, I can easily rewrite or remove it without affecting the story at all. That flexibility is always a good thing to have.
I was hoping to wait and post this update after the build got accepted on Steam, but no such luck yet. I’ll post again as soon as I get the green light. Hopefully that happens soon, so I can begin reaching out to Steam Curators and build momentum through wishlists.
As for Season 3 (Episodes 8.1 – 9.2), planning is already underway. I have a rough draft of the full season, and now I’m working on filling in the details to make sure everything ties together and, most importantly, ends in a satisfying way.
Thanks, as always, for your continued support.
Take care!
Dev update #184
Hi! I wish I had better news to share, but unfortunately, I don’t—at least not yet. It’s been three weeks since I asked Steam to review Season 2, following all the recent censorship issues from payment processors. I wanted to be proactive and make sure everything in the game fully aligns with Steam’s content guidelines. That extra caution is slowing things down quite a bit, but honestly, it’s the only safe path forward.
I’d much rather take my time with the start of Season 3 than risk any issues with Season 2 not making it to Steam. So, for now, we wait. I imagine Steam is taking extra care with adult game reviews lately, trying to avoid further trouble with payment systems. Hopefully, we’ll hear something soon.
As for Season 3—planning is done! Episode 8.1 is roughly outlined, and I’ve started the writing and coding. Coding will be painful this time around (heists always are), and there’s one small exploration phase on top of that. But I know what needs to happen and where each storyline is going, so I’m hoping the writing will go smoothly. Fingers crossed.
One thing I can promise is that Season 3 will be full of action... and more than a few twists.
Thanks as always for your support.
Take care!
And like I said I don't have the most recent one, #185, but the first line is about Steam approving Season 2 with no notes which even if you don't buy it through there this is fantastic news because
1) This means he's not stressed/spending time by having to create another version of S2 which could've taken who knows how much longer depending on what they could've said he had to change
2)He gets more money more quickly which is good for everyone from him to Patrons to pirates and most definitely means a shorter wait time for S3
In short life's looking good
