It is impossible unless the game turns into a supernatural/superpower theme game.:KEK:
I want to start playing this game, but these things confuse me.
A simulation? Then what’s the point of building relationships?
What’s the point of pregnancy in a simulation?

The purpose of developing a relationship within the simulation could be that the love interests might ended up also existing in reality, and are connected to the sim just like the MC is. So, it's possible that at some point, MC will try to find them in the real world. However, according to Nina all characters except agents are ai generated, and are copycats of real people in real world, so MC will recognize them, but the girls wouldn't. Maybe there'll be plot twist to it, or maybe not and MC will just ended up in love with ai girls, plain and simple, who knows.

Regarding pregnancy, who can say for now? There are many people puzzled by it, myself included. Maybe there will be some bizarre plot twist where the simulation somehow causes the girls to become pregnant in real life as well. Who knows?

The point is that this is just a game and these kinds of questions are best left unasked, because once you go down that rabbit hole, there isn't a single game without a load of illogical premise.

Well, the point of building relationships with "npc's" is to get to the objective. I don't know what the point is of pregnancy though. They also can't go to the objective guns blazing, because it's a "die in the simulation, die in real life" scenario like we've seen in many other stories (most famously in Fallout and The Matrix).

As I wrote previously, at least in the case of Athena (Lady in Black) I believe the point of pregnancy is that she be able to replicate the Virus- which I believe is herself. So at least in that case it makes sense to me, but for the other LIs, I really don't see the purpose.

Well, in the last update, looks like 1Thousand change some things. Agent Lawson says that the simulation is changing and now what the MC do will also change people connected in the simulation. Example: If he kill someone, the person will also die in the real life. What make me ask if that will also apply to girls connected not directly to the sim but with implants from Aegis, would they start to remember the MC?

Thanks to season 2 and the "upgrade" to Val, I'm also wondering what exactly the connection is between "simulation" Val and "real life" Val. Thanks to S2 I got the vibe that Athena seems to be one of the "good guys" and sim-Val will be some sort of hidden enemy or something. She did some things that really make me doubt she is one of the good guys in the end.

Did some things? Like what ??
- Her being zoned out around the moment (I believe) that RL-Val had a meeting. RL-Val herself had expressions and talked like she could be/become an enemy
- During the party at the end, I don't remember what (because it's been a couple of months already that I played S2), but I remember me becoming extremely wary of her as well at that moment.

At the last party, she met Lawson just before the explosion and they seemed to be working together just fine. After all, they are two sides of the same security system, which has been corrupted by the virus, so some weird behavior is to be expected (now Lawson doesn't even want to kill the agents anymore)

The way I understood it, Lawson still wants to kill the agents, but he has priority on MC for some (afaik unknown) reason. He's simply using the other agents to get to him.

OK, I remember that scene with Lawson but I just assumed that he forced her to give him the detonator otherwise he would kill MC, and we see that when MC is leaving with Lilith Lawson points his gun at him but he let him escape. So I think it was just a trade Val made since she didn't know that Lawson mission now is not to kill the agents, but just his own decision.

That can't be. He already got him in the last episode but only questioned him and then let him go away with Cox

He said the entirety of season 2 (except for that moment) that MC was public enemy number 1 and he should be killed first. I'm pretty sure it was the moment and/or location why he let him go, and/or he needs MC to do something for him first before he will kill him.

1Thousand Hey man. Will you return making NTR and NTS tagged games? Your other game Deliverance was one of my favorite game. I still goon to that from time to time. I wish you'd make one as a side project. Simple 30-40 min. gameplay. Just to entertain your fans.
dont talk such nonsense, particularly not so early in a new year...btw, no true fan wanna that shit you are "talking" about.
