im a big fan of this game and this dev but yes, as far as i checked, this update is really underwhelming, i expected too much obviously, but somehow i wish he would not start new routes and so on and instead finish more of the allready started content.
allrite, theres some more description stuff included for start of the game....yeah....i wont skip my current save file until dev ruins it...soo uhm yeah, i expected more, especially for the started stuff. i want to see Aline & Charlotte enjoy the gym dudes together, i want to see something new with Fred (allthough there were minor tweaks), i want to see Aline & Kassia do stuff with the doctor and the big robot and so on and on......

i dont want to complain, i really do, but this update was really not what i expected.

The Police Station, The Gym
Aline will now be able to use the treadmill in free mode when she goes to the gym at the police station.

Running on the treadmill will give you a small daily bonus of SEXP, so it's a more fun way to increase your experience.
This way, by adding small activities to the existing world, it avoids too much grinding and allows you to enjoy free mode more naturally.
I also created three songs using AI that I really like, which you can enjoy while exercising.
This event includes animations (who said bouncing breasts ?).
New NPC Rico
Introducing a "small" new character with repeatable events when Aline takes a break.
From now, I try to add [Skills and traits] to play a more important role as you shape Aline.
This time, Aline is facing another weird guy staring at her body.
This character has not a 3d model nor any route but I thought it would be easier to give him a name since there are a few events with him.
The event looks simple but is more elaborated than you may think at first. Come and have a break during your exercises everyday and whath how wild it can go.

For some event like this one, I'm trying to make "Phase/Stage" more clear from this update so you know when the event is done or if you have still to unlock a trait/skill to see everything.
A repeat mode will be available at some point here.
I will try to make it as a new rule for my development tasks and special events.
The Police Station, The Reception Desk Job
A new random event enriches the work.
With a new character, I introduce the theme of mind control and cyber hacking warfare.
Aline will find herself facing an unlikely adversary, which could lead to unexpected situations and high erotic tension.
Here, hacking skills and certain traits will take center stage.

The event will be random up to a certain point, then you will be able to trigger it on purpose. I don't want you to reset and load again the game until you get the scene, I want you to have control because it is more fun. I think I got the right feeling there and I'm waiting for your feedback on this new mixed approach.
A repeat mode will also be available at some point here.
Fred new content in the Hotel Room
This isn't yet part of Chapter 2, but it's a significant addition in terms of immersion.
Certain traits will allow for the extension of the shower scene, while the “Lie on the bed” option is enriched with some rather strange, oppressive, and steamy scenes.
I won't say any more, but I really like Fred in this new scene. You won't use the "Lie on the bed" icon as before.

Hotel District, Hot Coffee
I have created more scenes when taking a coffee near the metro station.
Here as well, [Skills and traits] will play a role.
The goal is for you to want to go and explore that event before doing another activity during the day.
It should be more lively and while you do your routine stuff, you will want to come back the next day to know more. And there's this strange guy ogling her everyday...
As always, you decide the direction.
Don't forget this is Aline, not Kassiah or a more arrogant girl...She can be bold but she's still submissive and can be trapped in some kind of game she didn't want at first.

Downtown Area, Evening, SQUAD 06

A new random event that I'm currently finishing up and that I really like for its cyberpunk vibe.
You don't mess with SQUAD06.
Composed of a drone and two cyborgs, it randomly (or not) searches citizens and uses controversial methods.
This is an interesting event in several ways, as it puts Aline in a situation where she either gains or loses control in public.
It's quite elaborate, with several evolving phases, and introduces some skills that have been somewhat overlooked until now.

1. I do not think there is any grind, if anything, you max everything to quickly, imo.
2. It is not marked as cheat, you click it and it gets added without warning or way to reverse, so yes, it breaks the game

We were all "NEW" the first time we played this title. I expect a new player to have the same enjoyment as me, discovering all the different content this title offers.

You arent supposed to get every trigger. Thats the point of the game and you should make several playthroughs for different alines, be it submissive, pure, arrogant etc.

The game used to be a bit grindy, but last few replays I didnt notice it. Feels natural. Only gaps are events that got added later in the dev cycle but are accessible early-ish, like the photoshoot. That requires pretty high skills, but thats like the only thing that comes to mind. A lot of the tedium was also removed via teleports.

The min max brainrot of todays gamers really pisses me off. Need to have every single thing unlocked, do everything as efficient as possible and if not, then comes the whining. Maybe someday people will come to realize that an imperfect run is actually what makes it YOUR run and a special experience. Reason why every ccg nowadays sucks, just netdeck everything, just wiki everything, just look up 10 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO WHEN STARTING X.

We were all "NEW" the first time we played this title. I expect a new player to have the same enjoyment as me, discovering all the different content this title offers.

misunderstand me not, i still think this game is a really great game as it is for new players, it just gets tedious in my opinion when they start feeling the need to grind to unlock certain skill/trait for an option as they wouldn't know what to expect down the road, i didn't play many games but i know i am not a fan of replaying something over and over again, it was actually painful experience for me collecting hearts to unlock all skills (even if not all r needed) as being prepared not to have to comeback for a week-in-game trying to view 1 event through when new events get added later on, i do appreciate anything that would save time while not interfering with the plot

This game is one of the best and the non lazy RPGM engine works very well here. Renpy with all the choices and decisions you get to make would be absolutely horrible for this game.

What possible benefit does using RPGM engine here work? Pretty much ALL of the gameplay is through windows and menus and dialogue, which Renpy is much more suited for.

Question, There's a file about old save transfer but I cant seem to open to read it.
How do I transfered this save file (I used it since 3. something) or should I even bother and start a new save?
Also Do you think we will ever see the event in that metro station bathroom?
That's something that interests me.

I love finding out my save is fucked after grinding for hours try to unlock something that is broken. I literally unlocked everything else in the trees thinking I must of missed something when its because the game is borked and didnt give me the proper items. And for some reason you coded this game where you cant save edit the items in since everything is encrypted.

Edit: I found a save before I unlocked it (8 hours ago wtf) and I tried unlocking and it triggered the deviant +2 hearts yet they still arent showing up in my inventory.

This is indeed an annoying bug and if I had found the reason, it would have been fixed for a long time.
I'm always ready to fix your save and adding myself the required items, just contact me. It can be done pretty fast.
I understand your frustration but giving one star to a review just won't help the game to get better at this point since you seem to like it a bit to sink a few hours in it.

Hate to say it, but I agree. These unskippable animations and black screens just kill the mood. You have to literally spend a minute to get from hotel to the police station. Well, maybe we'll get a proper Renpy remake one day.

Renpy won't change much the navigation between places. It's a design choice.
You have crystals and icons to teleport to places where it is logical (hotel room, downtown, cybercorp, Police station...)
You have also teleport for the Oxygen Bar Maid Job or even Kassiah.
I know some people don't like rpgm, some people don't like renpy either...To be honest, I don't like renpy for development, I feel it not intuitive.
The fact is I'm pretty at ease now with years learning how rpgm work after many trials and errors and even if it's not perfect, it's a good tool for my work.
Starting to renpy now would make me go back to the baby steps stage and you don't want that in the middle of the development, trust me.
It doesn't mean I won't be open for another software, renpy or whatever it is for a future project.

Some Feedback:
I would highly recommend to remove the red debug crystal from the hotel entrance. Or at least change it, so it does not grant 30 of everything to the stats, without even telling the player beforehand. It is like playing an RPG and at the beginning of the game you can max out every stat of your char, before even playing the game and knowing what's going on.
But maybe that was just an oversight and should not have made it into the game? Anyways, I recommend to remove it asap.

The debug crystal is not supposed to be here anymore in the links I had to re-upload. It was a cheat for development only and not intended at all. Please, don't use it, be a big boy and play the game with its rules.

Well on last version you got multi pentagrams on oxygen bar game over. And when you click any of them it types see you on the next version. Could ve swear there was a working game over there in domination zone.

I won't be back to the Oxygen Bar soon but I know I tried a game over event which was not well received. I have ideas about this place for a better immersive scene with Maestro.

This is fair. You are disappointed and you expected some content you didn't see coming. The fact is I cannot satisfy anyone and when you say I open more routes, it was not planned for 0.5.1. You have small side things (that got bigger than expected because I really liked it) and the main stuff is coming back for the next update.
I suggest you to pause for one or two update and comeback to feel the game again.

No, this is not my approach even if my girls have torpedos.

To conclude for now, I know the game is far from perfect. It has a large amount of pictures (over 10k) and that is why it is large. RPGM can be buggy but extremely buggy...I think not.
Sure the quality of life has to be improved and it will.
The game is in progress, it will get better.
I'm annoyed for the sacred hearts of deviance and I understand it can be frustrating. Maybe the system to become deviant will be changed for the 1.0.
