ntr fans seem to really only enjoy ntr when it ruins a harem game for normal people.
as for the game, it seems like the dev has decided to listen to feedback and reflect on the story they wanted to tell, commendable. I'll keep an eye out for this one so long as there isn't ntr or any future ntr being planned to be added back in.

notice all the ntr people that never, ever do any insulting are repeatedly claiming that even a hint that any love interest has ever had sex with anyone else is too much for "vanilla" fans to handle... all while conveniently (and willingly, not by mistake) forgetting that a lot of these same "vanilla" people are super into mother son incest (not me, i prefer to keep it at landlady, makes it a lot less weird), and by definition she must have had sex with at least the father of the child that is usually dead or a dead beat, unless we are all expected to believe that every one of them in every game went through in vitro fertilization with a random sperm donor and the father of ill fortune never actually consummated the marriage with his wife, now widow/ex?

anywho, premise of the story seems very interesting. i do love me some mystery to solve and some random kidnappings to get involved in, i mean, avoid allowing to happen. ahem. look over there, what is that! ... nevermind, must have been my eyes playing tricks on me. you saw nothing here.... the renders look pretty good, and while i definitely prefer dark hair to red, or every other natural hair colour to red for that matter, that busty redhead seems like she could be interesting. probably not as interesting as the black haired girl on the couch, but beggars cant be choosers. also, moar busty chicks! can never have too many.

Ironically enough I actually got a few DMs requesting to make the game fully ntr, I mean it's fine if that's what they're into but it's just not my thing at all personally.

Seriously, ntr seems like the sort of thing you should either go all in on or avoid completely. When people dabble in it a little bit they just tend to annoy people on both sides of the "debate". Some people want none at all, some people want a lot with most (if not all) LI's & there seems to be only very few who don't mind a small amount.
Imma be honest with you, I saw the tags and hit ignore but decided to read the comments. It was a roller coaster but by the end I unignored and hit watch so, for w/e thats worth. I'm in the camp of tell the story you mean to tell as well. For the most part if that story is ntr and that is the end of it and it has to be that way, so be it. I hit ignore and move on. But from sound of it, that's not really where you wanted to go with the story.

Certainly the mother's story has improved considerably.
I hope that continuing the romance (without corruption) includes crushing the business of the guys who kidnap young girls, and if possible screwing up their lives. And of course all this while the MC has a romantic story full of sex with all available LIs.
if you listen to them talk in threads, then you would obviously know that youre lying, because they never, ever, ever do things like that... its always the evil anti ntr people trying to change games....

I am just reading what is going on in this thread and evidently there is no longer any point in arguing about certain things. So... Yeah, it was an interesting reading session. lol
What I am glad is that corruption is avoidable. What a great touch to have that clarified in the OP. I just please ask that the romantic route is not excessively slow burn and that there is always at least the same content for both routes.
I always follow the vanilla and romantic routes and appreciate a good build up of relationships, without rushing things and obviously that it happens naturally and romantically, as long as we are not "punished" with less sexual content because "it's easier for the MC to corrupt his family than to make them fall in love with him".
I understand that corruption routes tend to have sexual content before love routes, especially when incest is involved. But, what seems fair to me is that the romance route "catches up" in content to the corruption route and, as said, that they have at least the same content.
Unless you want to focus on romance. Which obviously I'm not going to argue with that. Hehe.

Its also possible to split a corruption route...keep your personal sluts for yourself or go all the way to free for all sluts.

But they are written to be Mom's in 99% of narratives/games. i would actually prefer if they didnt focus on the relationship at all and treated them as a person, with their own thoughts and fears and insecurities and the normal things that you would find if the focus wasnt entirely on an arbitrary genetic bond (which is the only thing that is important to many incest fans). people have romances all the time without focusing on one small aspect of how they are related to the protagonist. give me that over the "but youre my son, but youre my mom" insanity all day long and i would be happy. the fact that they constantly have to mention it otherwise incest fans wouldnt be into it is pretty telling, in and of itself (i have seen several games where the incest "failed" because it was only mentioned briefly that they were related and didnt constantly remind the player of that fact, but its not only about the incest im sure.... right....). i dont want to fuck my mother. she is a nice lady and all, but i have no interest in that sort of relationship. to each their own, i guess.You like it as a Landlady? What I like is romance. Speaking of incest, it's not something that interests me more than other things, but it has the appeal of being taboo, which makes it exciting (as long as it's in a romantic relationship). Certainly not being incest what I'm looking for (although it's an addition that may be interesting to me), it turns out that almost all harem games with romance have it (it's either that or calling a woman who has raised the MC since he was born a landlady and who, for some strange reason, considers the landlady-tennant relationship to be like that of a mother and son).
For me personally, the fact that in many games they are constantly reminding the player that they are mother and son is tiresome. I like romance, and all the nonsense about yes, no, if I'm the mother, if it's my son, bores me.
I can see that, that's not unfair to ask. Sadly for you, most of the games on this site focus on that. But I guess that's what bypassing the censors to add incest is actually a boon for you because you can just not install the patch. I know you said that you want them to be independent people, but it still doesn't stop the WAY they're written. At least in most cases. So you'll have to deal with the thoughts of "But I'm their landlady! There is no way I can do that to my tenant!"
I'm kinda the opposite of you. I care about the romance a lot, but for me the Incest is the best part of the game. Most of the time I don't spend even a few seconds more on a page if it DOESN'T have an incest tag. What I don't like are the rushed Incest games the ones where you sleep with the family members wayyyy too fast. I'm also a big fan of the reminding of the roles. NOT over the top mind you. I recall Midlife Crisis doing this a bit too much, but I'm not complaining!
