Lol with that overview I think it would be nice to have a list of planned tags and if the fetishes are avoidable (they don't happen according to player choice) skippable(they happen but the player doesn't see the cutscene) or forced.

A fairly short intro could be a demo, it seems like a multiple protagonist since we follow the mother's pov.

Before you try it I warn you, the game follows the mother and shows how she has sex with the boyfriend and it is unavoidable.

Because of how the mother is presented and the story, well imo mother is a slut, she gets divorced and starts going out with friends who introduce her to drugs, there she meets a new guy whom she calls "boyfriend" (the guy obviously treats her like a slut) who surely gives her strong drugs and it seems she doesn't even remember that she has children hahaha.
Its look like this is going to be a corruption game and by how the intro is presented I don't think much can be avoided.

depends on the goal of the dev if he wants it to grow ya its a formula that has failed many times games that sit in between generally get abandoned much faster due to lack of support.

I have no intention of including NTR (at the very least unavoidably).

The story's start is told from two perspectives, MC's and Mom's bf for contrast, personally I don't consider her having sex with her partner as a shocker since you know, she's a mother and all.

I understand if it's not for everyone tho!

For my tastes, if the MC can develop a romantic relationship (and without mind control corruption drugs) with all the LIs except the stepmother, then I find it perfect. And according to the description of the game and the included tags it's possible.

And in fact for me it's better that the dark/evil option exists, I like to be able to choose and to be the one who decides that the MC follows a non-dark/non-evil path.

Please add NTR. Avoidable at least. Vanilla is far too boring.

I prefer that there is no NTR, if I'm honest. But I don't care if it exists if it's avoidable (ie it doesn't happen at all) or more exactly, extremely easy to avoid. In fact for me the best thing is to use a method similar to the option at the beginning of the game, that lets you choose if you want to see the scenes of the stepmother with her boyfriend or prefer not to see them, but instead of seeing or not seeing the scenes it should be they "can happen" or they "not happen at all".

It says can you deconvert mom and save her from this man and his pharma company?... the point is the dev decided to make a cest harem game make the mom the focus for the MC and then says that she's not a LI. Why would you put a non LI who is a family member in harms way and make them the focus and then say btw she's not actually an LI? I haven't played but other comments state you can make her the step mom but the op also says she's mom. It's actually not about the NTR it's about the genre and theme of the game. It has been written as cest harem and yet is it really? The dev also in comments have said every route is optional except the one with mom... sorry but that's a bit distateful for this genre and has also been stated for those who do like NTR it doesn't go far enough... so what exact demographic is the target audience here? Is any fan of the genre overall satisfied a few but probably not many, what about the other side is anyone in that fan crowd excited again probably very few. I'm not trying to sound harsh but there is a formula that works for these stories and this one is way off the graph for the majority of both sides... sure there are a handful of open minded fans who are just going to shrug and go for the story but most won't. I should mention that she's not (necessarily) a romantic interest, which is why I didn't consider people looking at is as NTR (and I'm not into cucking personally).

From this I deduce that the mother (or stepmother in my case) can be a romantic interest for the MC if you want, but that you can make her not be if you prefer it. But it's possible that I have misinterpreted the Dev's sentence, so it would be better if he were the one to confirm or deny this point.

I'm probably weird, but from my point of view, that the stepmom and her boyfriend have sex isn't NTR. That said, the scene doesn't appeal to me, and I prefer the option of not seeing it (or being able to avoid it). Regardless, the scene is just the icing on the cake of an entire conversation that can only lead me to dismiss the stepmom as a viable LI. From this perspective, being able to avoid the scene would have at least allowed a minimal chance to change that dynamic.

I actually think this scene is an incredibly bad decision when the Dev wants to make a harem game.

Missing out on a prime NTR set-up. Best of luck, but sounds like a real missed opportunity. Maybe your story telling will wow, but if not NTR sound like a pretty generic plot.

My personal recommendation: Cut all NTR content, or lean heavy into it. Sadly there is very little middle ground on this issue, as even the illusion of a single LI having ever slept with anyone other than MC is too much for most the vanilla crowd. And for us NTR people, this is basically nothing. Not worth playing for NTR without a whole lot more, and for more than one character.

Hey everyone,
wanted to make a post letting everyone know my reasoning behind the changes to the game for those interested, I'll keep it as short as possible.

When I originally envisioned the game, I wanted to make a story with interesting and fun interactions that follow a normal, light-hearted path, and later on, after unveiling certain truths, the player can decide to continue a peaceful life, or branch out into a corruption route.

When I was finishing up the introduction, I worried that I should make the corruption elements more evident, present from the start, which now I recognize as a big mistake, as I had to sacrifice one of the characters in the story for it, without any chance of avoiding that outcome. (And stumbling into unwanted tags lol)

So in the rewrite, which has been renamed to (D)Fraction, Martha's backstory and early events have been altered to better suit the upcoming developments of the story, and into something that I myself enjoy creating much more and shouldn't have altered in the first place.

That's it in regards to the new build, I'm also almost done writing version 0.02 but I still have to do all the renders which will take some time (as I can only work on this on my free time), I'm excited for everyone to meet the new characters as I find them quite fun to write (included a sneak peak on the attatchments of the new thread), will keep you updated!

Thanks to everyone who sent positive messages despite the rough start and everyone in general for giving my game a try!

I just tried the new version,nice changes to the story,she is not lost in drugs,parties and dont have a boyfriend (at least for now...) How it progresses after this is another topic.... (i think u need change overview)
