1. Gay guys also have dads. Therefore, they can also end up with daddy issues. These are not things exclusive to girls. I understand that as a straight male, you may not enjoy this as much as a straight VN... but I would kindly have to say, the game simply isn't intended to have straight players as the main audience. And that's OK, because there are hundreds and thousands of those already.
2. A large amount of VNs on this site are released in an unfinished state and continually add to the story over time. Due to this fact and that I am not a game studio, but an enthusiast who is creating this project in my spare time, F95 seemed like the perfect place to find people who would enjoy my VN and form a little community of fans.
3. If my aim was to appeal to a large crowd I could have made a VN about banging all the females in the MC's family. This isn't shade against those who make those sorts of VN's, however, I think anyone would agree, there are plenty of those to choose from already. My aim wasn't to create a HUGE following or to make bucket loads of money... My aim is to create something which I feel is important and under-represented currently... and that is a VN which PROUDLY features a gay story-line and not just uses it as a minor tone or side-option. You mentioned that NTR or Furry VNs will bring me "crazy loyal fans" but I am HUGELY appreciative of the fans I already have and wouldn't trade them for the world.
