The TLDR, they’re out of money and they’re gonna plan out a new smaller game to help kick start the team’s resources and get things rolling for themselves.
How are they out of money when they have so many paid supporters? I don't see the number on Patreon though.New Patreon post:You must be registered to see the links

It doesnt seem like they have that many paid supporters, when I look at their patreon it says 490 paid supporters. and it seems that they are getting under 2k dollars. How are they out of money when they have so many paid supporters? I don't see the number on Patreon though.
For the life of me I don't understand why this happens with so many projects again and again. For the small chance that the reason is actually just mismanagement of resources and not an attempt to rip off their paying fanbase, just take what you learned during development and implement it in your NEXT project. No reworks, no remakes, NEXT project. When they announced the changes to the lighting I laughed and stopped my support on Patreon.Should've focused on what people wanted, more Sex scenes and story unstead of the garbage mini games and engine schenanigans.
Pretty retarded way of thought. If all you want is porn, feel free to just watch porn.it doesn't have to be more than that
They want a porn game, don't be a retard. They don't want 20 hours of Earthbound rpg and puzzle solving to get to a few scenes just to jerk their dick to, they want the focus to be porn.Pretty retarded way of thought. If all you want is porn, feel free to just watch porn.
Its easy to makes points without understand the problems and struggle, DBA is a project with no guide sheet, they were making the game has they were developing, so for them to make the updates every 3-5 months without having to look back and remake stuff, they would have to take the time off to plan the story for each char, get a structure of the feature the game its gonna have and for the dimension the game its suppose to be its not easy, their patreons are aware of everything its not like the devs were hidding the problems.i still don't get it, he wants money, so work 50x harder on a whole new game than just updating this game every 3-5 months with content people want? does he think the dandy boy patreons will stay while getting new people for this game or what
So making a whole new game spending more time and possibly making less money in the end sounds like a bad plan, unless they are planning to have a complete game and sell it on Steam for $40 and get more than 100 people to buy itIts easy to makes points without understand the problems and struggle, DBA is a project with no guide sheet, they were making the game has they were developing, so for them to make the updates every 3-5 months without having to look back and remake stuff, they would have to take the time off to plan the story for each char, get a structure of the feature the game its gonna have and for the dimension the game its suppose to be its not easy, their patreons are aware of everything its not like the devs were hidding the problems.
Their new game for what i understood its going to be full game that is why the release to be set to 2025, they not wasting time cause they been upgrading engine and create assets, so its not time wasted, but sadly they need income for both devs to be able to work full time, that is why making a new game with a plan can work and possibly give them the income they need.So making a whole new game spending more time and possibly making less money in the end sounds like a bad plan, unless they are planning to have a complete game and sell it on Steam for $40 and get more than 100 people to buy it
Yup, these are my thoughts exactly. The plan sounds fine on paper but honestly is insanely unrealistic. According to his public post he'll use the money to FINISH DBA, and some things about that don't add up:So making a whole new game spending more time and possibly making less money in the end sounds like a bad plan, unless they are planning to have a complete game and sell it on Steam for $40 and get more than 100 people to buy it
