Well, I remember trying to play this game back in the bad old days of the shitty MTL it was released with. Back then, not only was the translation pretty much a joke, but the game was a buggy mess. As far as I remember, I was never able to finish even a single playthrough and gave up.
Now I tried again to see how Shiravune handled things. I grabbed the Steam Version off of the Pixeldrain link and applied the official patch to it. Didn't run into any bugs. The translation is also pretty good, though it has some weird moments, so to speak, like marking way too many NPCs as "boy" even though it's clearly men (like with soldiers or prisoners in Guiltea and whatnot). The choice to use "therian" for what's essentially beast-men is also a tad weird, even if technically correct... however, I have my doubts about how many people even know what that word means or why it actually fits with beast people... Was it like that in the original JP text? I have no idea...
Beyond that though, this is an older ONEONE1 game and it show... but it's also essentially the second of their games that seriously tried to have a story (The first being Marauders of Dystopia). Every other game before these two were extremely linear, though I'd say that it was really this game that set the stage for the eventual production of Meritocracy and Ideology and the like.
In any case, the game shows its age with more than just the outdated RPGM engine. The convenience of newer titles isn't here. You can't choose to lose battles before they start when said battles give defeat rape. It's hard to know which battles actually lead to defeat rape or other consequences without trying them out. Self destruct only unlocks in NG+ which makes it extremely tedious to get on the corruption route on the 1st playthrough while the virgin playthrough is painfully easy. CGs are reused a lot more than in latter games and there's a lot fewer unique variations for various situations. Pregnancy is not a mechanic, instead, it's tied to specific events and some endings... So on and so forth.
The game also doesn't have a corrupt form or anything like that, and anyone coming into this game from Ideology or Samurai Vandalism is probably gonna be somewhat confused about the lore... though this game and those games don't happen in the same setting and there's no connection between them.
Still, for a game that came out in 2016, it's still pretty good, and it's still ONEONE1, so if you can put up with some of the lacking QoL and the old RPGM engine with no mouse support, it's still worth playing and it doesn't take that much time to do a couple of runs. Reaching any ending unlocks the full gallery, so you don't need to play over and over if you don't want too. However, the gallery doesn't tell you which scene is what for the most part, so there's no way to know which ones are endings. Additionally, the two good endings aren't in the gallery at all, aside from the pre-ending scene in one of them. So keep that in mind.
Lastly, I'm adding in my saves, with the note that a number of the saves are right before final fights, allowing you to jump into various endings. The list is as follows:
Save 4 - If you win, you get Ending 5. If you lose, you get Ending 7. (Note, this was from 1st Playthrough, so no Self Destruct. I recommend unequipping all defensive gear, putting up the item that reduces mana costs by 50% and casting Antitekt over and over until the boss beats Fornelia if you want E7. Shouldn't take too long, this boss is one of two that actually does some real damage.)
Save 7 - If you win, you get the choice that leads to Endings 1 and 2. If you lose, you get Ending 4.
Save 11 - Winning leads to Ending 3.
Save 13 - Losing leads to Ending 6.
To access the gallery, load any save you want, open the Menu and select Extra.
Enjoy~
