i understand the world your trying to create, but i feel you are "try hard"ing. in a world full of dick bag cunts, where strength is the defacto basis of power and influence. everybody has enemies, and every enemy is looking for allies, or at least convenient stooges. the enemy of my enemy is my 'friend' especially if useful or easily manipulated. if raven and her guild wield power by their strength, the moment you ohko her, you have the power, and the follower types should be all about scurrying to the new strongest guy on the block. her enemies should also be about supporting you as you could be very useful to them. also, we met guards at the city gate, which means there is some kind of government, as corrupt as it might be, it is still above the adventurers guild. i mean the guild has a guild master, but some how he has no power over the guild members. if theft and murder or okay for the strong, then you being the strongest, should be just fine. the setting needs to have explanations that work. evil for evil's sake is stupid, and doesn't work because it can't last or maintain functionality. evil has to be self-serving, and the cruelty is for fun. but the fundamental truth is self-interest governs all.

They could’ve easily avoided the controversy by labeling it as Act 2 and offering original owners a discount, but they didn’t.

I’d really like to hear your side of the story. Also, if you happen to see this, could you please update Never Meet Your Heroes? The Steam achievements have been broken for a year now.

What are you talking about? ITK is the visual creator for our game. I know him in real life along with the coders and writers. We are all under the same group and all worked together before. None of this is hidden in any shape or form.

It's written in the game's about section, our page section, the discords. What's sketchy about this?

There is currently no mention of ITK or any information about your team or publisher in the About section on Steam, F95, or Patreon. You can easily check this by using Alt + F. I don’t use Discord unless absolutely necessary, so maybe the information is there, but I wouldn't know. Anyway, you should probably add that information to those platforms. The only way I even know ITK is involved is that the Steam account ALV posts announcements for the game, and that’s the same account that posts for ITK.

Why is that information relevant? We're a bunch of guys working together all making our own different games. Did we do something wrong ?

Exactly, nothing is hidden so I'm confused what the problem is?

Been playing so far and I'd say this has good potential, only big bug I found is that the bandit's hideout cannot be accessed after you complete the temple questline, so you're unable to progress in the village by helping the three dudes who wanted weed. I'm glad to see that you've put in the suggestions of others to improve this game and wish the devs the best

Really want you guys to try the main game so here is the download link for the early pre steam version. This one does not contain bugs but is incomplete and has the original game difficulty (Steam version is very very easy). You can still enjoy the majority of scenes but just know that any issues/bugs you encounter here is not in the steam version and patreon version. Once again, this version is PURELY for those who enjoyed the game and want to play more, it is HARD like an RPG but completely playable. Feel free to mod/hack it

There are a dozen VaM games using people's content and scenes. There are even games here using Peta's characters as MCs and main characters. The rule as stated on the VaM website is that you can't sell their VaM scenes as your own work inside VaM, not outside as it would take money away from them. The majority of the scenes in my game are made by us the ones that aren't are made with the permission of the creators

If you think of the town and guild as a school it makes more sense.
