It's a Halloween event. Buy a candy "give it to her in the night" try both options i.e give her that candy in the presence of witch as well as call her separately by "talk to ruriko" option and give her one more candy just to be safe and go directly to sleep.
i really like this game i havn't finished everything yet but i really hope red isnt the bad guy that i think she is after what i just saw her say to the mom of the mc
