VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Dark Neighborhood [Ch. 8 v1.0 Super Gamer] [Psychodelusional]

There are basically two ways to view this game. The first is where the creator accidentally made a game with no logical actors, interspersing more vanilla eroticism with the grimier more nausea inducing minutia, all behaving in incoherent and absurd ways, occasionally posing or making facial expressions that land them squarely in the uncanny valley, and being incapable of doing literally anything other than fucking.

The second is that these things are all still true, but it's intentional and this is intended to come off as some twisted lust driven nightmare. If so, bravo.

Really though, I can definitely see there being people who really get off on this game and it's not terribly crafted, so I can't rate too low. But this thing is about as antithetical to my taste as is physically possible.

I've run into games with surprise gore that killed erections before, but at least that was the end of it. This game kept tempting me back with "maybe that won't happen again, some of this seems hot" and my dick is confused as shit from how often it has gone from erect to flaccid.

On a side note, am I the only one getting real fucking tired of characters unironically being written with penthouse suites or poolside mansions who are "struggling". Seeing the main character complain about how cheap their house is because he had two walk through two whole doors to turn on their massive hot tub was infuriating.

Nothing but meh all around. Except for some of the faces, then its more akin to "holy fuck burn it with fire." Renders are pretty decent and thankfully don't rely on all the same assets that most other Daz 3D games tend to use.

Definitely not a 5 star game but worth a shot if you love big asses and tits. As others said the game is just so bizarre, story did not interest me so I stopped reading at chapter 2 and while playing just to see the pictures it made me laugh because it was so ridiculous. Also everything is just so predictible, always same things happening, same sex positions, developer is a doggy lover I guess The faces are so horrible but after 4th chapter I felt like faces were starting to get better, so lets dont be too hars on the designer, because I have never seen so much image in a game so looks like designer did some serious work on this. I hated that ugly stupid little sister, seriously dude she is just so unattractive. Liked the mother and big sister tho.

It's a fun game with a straight forward story, realistic models and the dialogues are to my liking - drity, direct and they use a lot of bro/sis/mom/son prononus So you don't feel it's actors having sex but actualy family members.

This is a game bathed in mediocrity brought on by it's boring writing. Every scene involves some sort of sexual act. There's hardly any build up to any of the individual scenes and hardly any sexual tension for us, the players, simply because every scene involves sex. It all becomes very predictable because we know what to expect by the 3rd Chapter.

Although the dialogue makes it seem like some of the characters have issues with the taboo nature of having sex with the player, they ultimately cave anyways. Again, this makes each character and scene very predictable and it gets old fast.

Honestly one of the best games posted in this forum.Artwork is great for all characters except for the youngest girl(Horrible in my opinion).The MILF actually looks older than the other girls whereas in all the other games they all look like in their 20's trying to pass as older women.Good story too,funny as hell.

Can a game have to much sex scenes? This game really answers that, and the answer is yes!
This game is so out there and so strange in so many ways, i really dont know where to start.

First off, i played 5 chapters, and couldnt bring my self to play ch 6.

This game is trying to tell a story, and the story is supose to be dark, and gripping, but the details are just way to out there.
The whole premise could work, but its not belivable, nothing makes sens. And the excuse to that can be its a "super natural energy affecting them".
But even if that is the case, it still needs to have some basis in reality, some small relateabillity to the story, choices and dialog. But everything is just so flipping weird.
The MC gets boners that rip trough his shorts every 3min, basically EVERY scene is a sex scene, and one might like a lot of sex scenes, (its a porn game after all) but the scenes have no animations, and the dialog is just bad. So there is no real story, its just another excuse for another sex scene, and the characters interactions make no sens.
Now shitloads of sex scenes might work, if atleast the girls where pretty, or if it had awesome animations and had variety.
But there are no animations, and the girls proportions are insane, the breasts and hips are HUGE, and the faces look darn right uggly with a lot of expressions.
Its the same with the MC and his banana 10inch dick, on his 150cm tall boddy.
There are scenes where you can "sniff a sleeping girls pussy", to get some "fornication points" twice in the game when you do this, she farts in your face.... Funny... Really sexy!....
There are just so many points in this game that have any relatabillity in them, that, its just bad.
It feels like its written by a super horny teeenager most of the time.

I wanted to stop already after ch 3, but i hoped it would SOMEHOW get any better, but it just gets more insane and more insane. After ch5 i gave up.

Review of version CH.6SE however DNF after 3 chapters. While I will mention no important story spoilers, I will note a few occurrences from the game.

I couldn't help feeling I'd found Tim Burton's take on wincest gaming playing this. Dark Neighborhood is suffused with style. The imagery, the sound, and the story all give the strong impression you are experiencing it in a nightmare. I strongly applaud the author for their skill in this. If the elements that I describe below do not turn you off, then you should absolutely experience it. It's a unique product.

Unfortunately for me, even though it seemed like this would be for me going in, there was just too much in it that stripped me of any carnal excitement. We can all agree that sex and the human body are kinda gross when you think about them to closely, but I really don't seek that out in my porn. I like my porn somewhat sanitized. DN is anything but. DN revels in the real and dirty side of sex, and so much so that I just couldn't take it. Most striking In the first 3 chapters were a significant amount of focus on pubic and anal hair and vivid unavoidable (as well as some optional self-inflicted) violence done to the MC's penis (though no unavoidable gore, at least).

You can view screenshots to see if the models are to your liking. For me, the elder sister is attractive, the mother is okay, and the younger sister looks like she's been wailed on by a really effective ugly stick, poor dear.

I'm glad to report that, aside from the introduction, you play as the male human and not the deity. I actively dislike body hopping, multiple protagonists, and voyeurism, so I had some concerns on this point when I started. But I was relieved that once the main gameplay begins, you stay as the human.

The writing is good. The English is not too bad, but with enough errors to damage immersion. In particular, the author has some problems with homophones, frequently mixing "your" and "you're" and "stair" and "stare", for example.

Despite my reservations, this is a well imagined and implemented game. I intend to give it one more shot after completion. If I find it more playable then, I will, of course, update my review and rating.

Love this game. One of the best in the genre, with great art and choices that are available but not difficult. The story is a little unusual but everything else is great. Completely recommend for anyone interested in m/s or incest

Of many boy/family incest games this is my favourite at the moment. The main reason is the way MC's mother and sisters look. They are vouluptus but natural looking, differently from other games where they look like plastic-made. The mom looks like a busty mom and not like a 20 years old model.
Another thing I like is the absence of grinding so common in many games.
There are some odd things in the story that may be not for everyone but you should check the game and see it for yourself.
If you like Milfs and incest this is the game you should try.

The mother and older sister are attractive but the younger sister is not at all, though i guess that's subjective.

The writing is at least a little different than a lot of the other plots from comparable games on here but it just takes really weird turns and some of the imagery used is just offputting.

TL;DR (It was 2 fucking sentences) : I feel like this game just tries to kill your boner.

Art's alright. Preview pics look better than art in-game.

Writing is flat and weak; narrative is a step up from cellphone-speak and characterization is almost nonexistant.

I personally don't find the Benny Hill-style plot contrivances useful. Porn content is presented without buildup or tension and is less sexy and more 'things that happened between two characters' bikini zones'.

TLDR: not my bag.

This game is a bit of a mixed bag for me. Personally, I am not that big a fan of massive titties and big butts. If you are, then this game delivers for you. My personal likes about this game is that the older women actually look quite a bit older and still look hot and none of the women look like supermodels but are still very attractive each in their own way.

The writing is a bit 'meh', but that can be explained away because of the magic element to this game and since it is a porn game we should not take it all to serious anyway. It is quite entertaining if you just go with it, but a lack of writing skills does show here and there.
As for the renders, they have to much bloom in them but nothing to serious. The (mostly) 2-frame animations are very good and add a little extra to the game.
When it comes to the models used it all comes down to personal taste, like I wrote earlier, but I do recommend you give this one a try even though it might not be your thing, I was pleasantly surprised.

This has to be one of the best looking VNs out there. The models look great, the lighting is great, really good stuff.
The writing is a little above the standard issue VN, personally the characters seemed more interesting than other VNS.

I love this game! Even though it has many flaws, I still love it.

The story is bizarre and comical, it's certainly not meant to be taken seriously. I have to be honest, the little sister character is really not my bag, she is not appealing at all. The older sister is ok... but the major draw for me at least, is the mom character. The interaction between her and the main character is just pure gold fap material.

Its not a perfect game, it's not the best game...but I f**ing love it anyway. 5 stars.

This game is just bizarre.

The models are pretty bad and could definetely use some work. There are also only 4 female characters. On the other hand, the music is superb and there are many scenes. However, the story is just plainly weird as hell. Some really bizarre and weirds stuff happens, and the way everything is set up... it almost feels like a porn game made by tim burton himself. It has a very dark and cold atmosphere, while at the same time also being humorous, but in a dark way.

I am giving it 3 stars due to the not so good models and lack of variety, but also because the story was just bizarre and a no for me. However, I could see certain people liking it due to its originality compared to other games on this site.

I have admit I don't understand why this game is rated as high as it is. The storyline is sorta okay but mostly ridiculous and unrealistic, especially in terms of the MC and his older sister. Dialogue just seems off and it just felt like a slog to click through all of it and trying to keep track of the story.

But there are two real issues. One is the graphics, which are grotesquely lush. I welcome the the inclusion of big boob/big hip women even though that's not my thing, but the faces are really poorly done, with the mother sorta okay, the older sister and aunt pretty bad, and the youngest sister just looking awful. The developer's decision to use extreme wide-angle close-ups of the characters (probably to convey suspense) further emphasizes the grotesqueness. The house interiors are also ridiculous looking, and the lighting is weird. Just really off-putting to look at in many ways.

The other problem is the UX. Navigating the house is a complete pain, the every hallway scene offers a clutter of places to go. It's grindy and unnecessary when you can just put a navigation bar on the side or bottom like other games do.

Music is also overbearing and grotesque. Overall, this is an incredibly lush (4GB+ uncompressed) game, but is just a pretty unpleasant experience.
