To play most my VNs at minimum I found below to get the job done, However you sometimes would need to switch your games from 60fps to 30-40fps.
-OS: Windows 10 pro, build 1803
-64bit Processor: Intel i5 2.3GHz, 4 CPU
-Memory: 8 GB RAM
-DirectX: Version 12 & DirectX, 9.0c End-User Runtime
-Several Microsoft c++ redistributable pkg (2005 - 20019)
Additionally, a couple older VNs would need (below)
-d3drm.dll Ver5.2.3790.0 - 32 Bit (x86) in Windows\System32 & Windows\SysWOW64
