I know I'm way late to the punch here, but you should try My Sister, My Roommate, or Haley's Story. Both of those are pretty good.I'm completely with you there. The story succesfully captivates me as well. It's not without it's fault, and v.15 contains quite alot of cringy dialogue. But all-in-all the is much more engaging than any of the other VNs I've seen in a long time. I'll be back for more. No doubt.

Any new faces that would have sex will likely have some reason to accelerate this within the Chapter 3 framework. I hate hate hate the “we’ve just met, let’s have sex.”New "faces" would be great.
Though that does mean needing time for new character generation.
Of course Sophie from Melody could have a post-Melody band member career as a model. Her and D are about the same height so they would look more natural modeling together.
I wouldn't object to Fi having gotten a boob job prior to becoming a model (well actually 2 boob jobs as just getting one boob done would make her kind of lopsided).

Mr.Dots and his team appears to have generated a game wherein the female lead and several supporting characters have taken on a much greater personality than is common in most gaming, adult or otherwise. D is not merely a 2 dimensional vehicle for driving sexual events, D is character who has a real identity and personality. Fans expect D's actions to remain true to who she has become, and even hypothesize on future events based on D's personality, declarations and actions.
It's sort of akin to when the actors on Star Trek assigned real world functions to their prop set starship consul. The prop became a "functioning" device.

Yeah, it has been in his plans to have it in the game though from the very start, it even had it on planned fetishes when he was still advertising DmD on his patreon, the whole Patreon crack down thing probably just put it way back on the backburner until recently and people who came later didn't know and the ones who did know probably thought the idea was scrapped.
