They went very publicly as a romantic couple to cupid night and were obviously viewed by many people over the course of their trip as a couple, so how then does it make sense when they return for this latest chapter that they are representing as F and D? Do they not imagine that the realization that they are F+D could be problematic not only for their future life in the town but especially for anyone who saw them as a couple previously? I don't get why they would even consider making the decision to now.
