You got me wrong. I'm not complaining at all, just replying to someone who said "patronage doesn't mean 'here is my cash, no strings'" and let him know that those who support Mr.Dots games have the right to expect him to deliver the game as promised, and he has been doing that! So there is no reason for complaining. Is he not delivering current work as promised? for most of those here who are not backing him will not have access to what is said behind that and you complain he is not providing as promised? if you have an issue and are a backer then let him know there, not here.
I understand that rendering a big image with Iray quality takes about one hour using a good computer. But the game development is not just creating the pics and writing the text. One has to program the game to work according to some variables displaying this or that event, this or that pic. Including all possible variations (Dress A +Rejected Elena +Goes to the police, Dress B +Rejected Elena +Goes to the police, Dress A +Didn't reject Elena +Goes to the police, Dress B +Didn't reject Elena +Goes to the police, Dress A +Rejected Elena +Don't go to the police, Dress B +Rejected Elena +Don't go to the police, Dress A +Didn't reject Elena +Don't go to the police, Dress B +Didn't reject Elena +Don't go to the police)I keep hearing about the time to render and such. What is considered average time. Once you design the character and the rooms, it is about posing. Most of them use stock clothes. The story should of been mapped out before,. Even without so even if they don't have a storyboard, does not sound like a lot of time. Most dont even bother to change clothes and reuse images with no or minor alterations. My gaming rig renders in minutes, if i just rendered without any of the othet steps. 100 in a few days would be cake. Normally it sounds like rendering is the big time sink, as an old computer is normally the excuse. Hard for me to accept as one months income from dmd would buy a good computer.
Not trying to be an ass. I am curious, as lack of contentt is my biggest complaint. I don't care if all the content is not to my liking, or if game play is not appealing to me. I accept the reality that the creator has a lot of patreons to please. So i want someone to explain to me why i have the wrong attitude and make me a happier man.
Actually i posted that and it was in response to the ongoing posts about patreonage. The idea that you are supporting a creator somehow means there is no accountability. Yes you can pull your support. However, you have every right to expect a reasonable level of productivity. Especially when the creator markets to you.You got me wrong. My preference would be C, B, A...Choosing An Outfit for Daughter - Day 12
Hi guys,
Time for another poolThis month you'll help me choose an everyday outfit for Day 12.
So, which one do you like the most?
Outfit A: View attachment 9988 Outfit B: View attachment 9989 Outfit C: View attachment 9990
there is always things to do to make sure the pose and the clothes are put together right. sometimes you will see someone not as percise as others where the clothing looks like it's held on by sheer force of will where there is a gap between the clothing and the character body. even with predesigned characters and clothing, unless they are in the same position then there is a good deal to make sure of. the actual rendering is still also different than having your computer render it onto your screen. For that aspect there is Display Rendering and File Rendering. the later does take much longer because it must save information for the next screen to display properly, and that includes a great many calculations. to render a picture on your screen is very different. and there is much more than just telling the computer to render as you mentioned, and that should all go into account.I keep hearing about the time to render and such. What is considered average time. Once you design the character and the rooms, it is about posing. Most of them use stock clothes. The story should of been mapped out before,. @Dolphin3000 I did misunderstand your post and I agree with you, my comments reinforce your comments just as muchYou got me wrong. Well if you have a 8 core 16 thread CPU, good nVidia card, use Iray and Preta3D Reality, you are in good shape.I keep hearing about the time to render and such. What is considered average time. this is also why some choices have to leave to just a game over screen or it would take an even longer time to flush out the story and the renders that happened as a result of some sort of Game ending choice.I understand that rendering a big image with Iray quality takes about one hour using a good computer. But the game development is not just creating the pics and writing the text. One has to program the game to work according to some variables displaying this or that event, this or that pic. That's why I don't like when I new game developer includes too many characters in his game, it will take ages to create all possible variations.
Yeah. While I haven't had game end with Elena. (did with Daughter). I think it would be better if you lost some points instead of game over.If the object is to save time, scenes should be cut/shortened involving side-characters. The MC and D should not be affected.
The weirdest game-over occured the time the MC visited D and Elena at their hotel. As MC was groping D in her sleep, Elena discovered them and freaked (Elena of all people!). That was game-over!
Really???
In this game? Definitely Daz Studio. I recognize the Casino and the Bowling alley, Ironman13 built those!Anyone know what program they use make 3DCG?
Oh I see, Daz store is really suck me in. HahahaIn this game? Definitely Daz Studio. I recognize the Casino and the Bowling alley, Ironman13 built those!
Sure, it's free for the basic program, but you'll get sucked into the Daz store. No one escapes the Daz store...
Well, OK, maybe a few people do, but there is a lot of REALLY REALLY NICE STUFF in the Daz Store!
I love my Daz!
I would love to light-heartedly parody a few pics from the game for fun, but overly busy right now with projects. I have a few fun ideas for D and the father. If I really had the time I would do one of D kicking Lucas off a building into a Sharknado! You need to do more photos like that. Thanks oldje <3
Priceless! Would certainly help relieve my gaming hostility towards Lucas.I would love to light-heartedly parody a few pics from the game for fun, but overly busy right now with projects. Eventually I would like to learn Daz and Renpy and create my own stuff, only have an old version of photoshop for now that I know well.
