They all sound like activities one does when you first start dating someone, now if you were just having a one night stand or meaningless casual sex with someone things might be different.

edit: Some say that D gave into M without much resistance but:
a. M gave (lied) a valid legal reason why D needed to leave the country quickly.
b. M stated (lied) she spoke to F and he agreed.
c. D tried contacting D anyway without success.
d. M is still D's legal guardian and it makes sense D would have problems resiting M face-to-face.

First and foremost, this is a game (pretty much a porn game and not a dating SIM as title would imply) and as such, I compare it with similar games around here. Otherwise, developer would not list all those fetishes, some of them pretty extreme. Most of people here are for a specific reason.
I have been a patron for a while and there was already some discontent with game progression. Not only with F/D relationship moving too slow, but also with D miraculously appearing to cock-block F progression with other characters.
Developer is progressing story barely enough to keep money flowing and I am not talking about daughter only. It took almost a year to get to the first intercourse.
Of course, you can justify the logic behind the script. You can throw in any obstacle to halt sexual progression. D could have gotten in a car accident and is unable to move for next few updates, so Georgina steps in. If patrons are content with milking, we will see F in next 2 updates desperately running around and trying to get his daughter back. If he senses patrons dissatisfaction, F will be miraculously rescued in the last moment and F/D relationship will progress more rapidly.
At the end, it all boils down to expectation. If you see this as a dating game (basically mature version of "Barbie goes shopping") than, progression is just fine. I just thought that it is rather slow comparing with rest of material on this site.
That being said, I absolutely respect your opinion. After all, Mr Dots would not be so successful if he was not doing something right. I see further progression of the game dependent on high patron posts. Those people are bankrolling the game and unless Mr Dots decides that he already made enough money, they will have great influence on game direction.

Developers rarely do 1 fetish game and even in incest games you can find something cool. I said before, side-chars and some sharing keeps me here. Moreover most high quality games is incest nowadays. I'm pretty sure theme will change sooner or later but it's hard to find something new right now. DMD at least is trying to feel realistic so it's the only incest game I'm playing right now (tho it's not too high on my list). Different people different reasons for play. I can't see why I can't play it if I'm not into incest

The create your own thread for it. Right before 0.13 release ppl were having these discussions about the whole issue on Beastality that arose. I strongly suggest that both of you let it go. Walt Dee was only doing a review / statement about his disappointment about the latest update. Not mean't to be broken down and analyzed.

As of right now you are pretty much hijacking a thread meant for questions and such on how to play the game or installation process.



If you do that you will not get happy ending with Daughter Which is why you shouldn't do it. Unless you play ikra mod that allows all branches to be done in one save.

These are mostly rumors that Walt Dee seems to know more about. But I wasn't aware that 0.13 was the last update for now for focus on main story. That's what I was afraid of actually and the way 0.13 ended it seemed to put a nasty taste in probably a ton of people. I can already see MrDots losing tons of Pledgers due to this kind of ending. I for one when heard about it was furious. It felt like the ending was a dead stop for development almost for D and F. Which is why I am concerned.

It's good to see that they are adding more to it. I do agree with you that the idea of side content such as Careers can be a bit nerving and become overwhelming. It would be similar to how SU does its updates with mostly costume content and not actual core content. I think Core content and all that should be focused first then add the other stuff.

Back in about April of,this year, MrDots wanted to flesh out the other two careers and put the issue up for a vote. The vote was to delay those paths and come back to them later. I would assume MrDots knows he will lose some patrons in the months it take s to do these story branches, but it something he has envisioned since the game began. Certainly, making a artistic choice counter to keeping or increasing the patron fees is evidence he is not milking the patrons IMO.

Not really sure I am happy with where they are taking this story atm, he could have written a novel instead if this is where he wants it to go with it.

I'm not angry at all. i don't mind incest or anything else to the point of being angry. It started with me being after sharing. I still don't mind and I would play it. You're right that it's mostly an incest game tho in my opinion not even 50% at this point is incest. We all have our kinks so I'm looking forward for things that I like but if there won't be anything I can deal with that.

I think its a really great cliffhanger. My concern is that development gets sidetracked with pointless crap like other career paths. Those are flavorful things you do after you feel you have a finished product. I read somewhere on the patreon that 13 is the last planned update for awhile on the main story, with the focus on developing side archs.

Is this confirmed? If its the case, feels like a milking tactic in fear of losing subs after D gets the D.

No milking, we decided months ago (it was January I think) that ch.1 would have ended the way it has ended, with a sad note and a game-changing event. Chapter 2 will bring MANY novelties (but d and f will remain the central focus obviously). Some of these novelties might be hard to get used to (even though some will "last" only a couple of updates), but they were necessities plot-wise, so I give mrdots the guts to stay honest to his vision. We'll see hot it goes, but be it as it may, this is NOT a last-minute change to milk patrons since DMD is having so much success.

As for the new job routes, a general revision of the previous episodes was badly needed, doing this at the end of chapter 1 just seemed to make sense, so to be able to publish a "finished official version" of chapter 1 as a somewhat stand-alone feature. Adding some additional content to the previous days is a good plus (we planned to do it much time earlier, but patrons voted in a poll to postpone this till the end of chapter 1's storyline).

It was hinted that we were supposed to get a BJ scene most likely due to how the updates were going with progress. Yes it's a big monumental step for daughter for her first orgasm. In relation to her story and such major growth. But for us who expected at least a BJ or something that is not a very big step.

Gotta think on how people like content to scale right. It's almost he took a step backward. Yes 3 HJ's and Daughter gets fingered by dad 2wice? Not sure but I do know that it was only a major leap for Daughter but a very tiny step for those playing the game.

Personally I worry that the next few story updates will be something along the lines of,

D slowly realises she's been tricked but isn't allowed to contact F.
F chases after D but is prevented from seeing her by Rachel.
Elena try's to help but unsuccessfully.
Rachel pushes D onto Frank in an attempt to maybe force a marriage through.

Only sexiness i can see in the near future would be with Elena or maybe Georgina if you went down those paths ( I didn't) as they try to comfort F. Maybe it's just a failure of imagination on my part but it's not looking great imo. Honestly not remotely interested in the fleshing out of career paths if that is what is planned for the next update. Overall I feel like this update ended on a massive downer and it doesn't look like it'll have any decent resolution for months. not the way I'd be trying to keep or win over new patrons

The flow of the game showed by progression that it would most likely end with a BJ. But instead we got something else. Great progress of Daughter but very lacking for satisfaction for the general ppl.

The amount of content in this update was minor and still more "Blue Balling" I feel like that MrDots has his pacing all messed up. I don't agree with it from what I saw from the person who claims to write up the story for DMD.

A year before you add actual Sex in the game? I started with 0.12 version due to how much claims about it being a blue balling game. And I am not going to support this kind of Snail pace crawl of development. By definition the way he is going about it is Milking the Patreons even if not intentional. I would still see it as that. When do a porn game make sure you scale fast with content. Don't keep giving non-sex type content for a total of a year. Now I can see why so many ppl are enraged by this game.

So many ppl I spoke to have left this guy patreon due to how he does his stuff. This is why Summertime Saga is super effective. It's not a total grind and gives good pace and very good content.

Each update is small and not worth the time. Might as well do 2D and stop wasting time with renders that take over 24hrs to do a small amount. And to top it off there is too many branches being done that are left hanging. WHen do such branches, make sure to get those done within 1 to 2 updates. Otherwise its not good at all.

A thought just occurred to me. It's been set up this update that F has a busy work week ahead of him, but now with Rachel taking D he'll likely want to drop everything and chase after her. Under normal circumstances that would lead to F getting fired. But remember Georgina has the hot's for F, and she knows and has proof that Martin and Maria are fucking. I think someway she'll learn about the situation (at least some of it) and use the evidence to blackmail Maria into letting F go after D and keep his job.

The text in vers. .13 suggests Georgina may have already blackmailed Maria, thus her very nice attitude towards him on Day 13. Not sure. If Maria already knows, may make it harder to coerce Maria into lettting F get away with leaving town to hunt down D and Rachel.
