Usually I lose interest once the MC and love interest have finally done the deed but DMD looks like it's gonna ramp up for more. Mostly, I want to corrupt the hell out of daughter. It's gonna be a cluster once all the characters are under one roof in the harem route.
It's a really good and interesting game. However, the thing which I didn't enjoy was - bad choices of mine, and then my game was simply "over". And if I didn't have the manual save, I'm screwed.
Wow-- 1295 pages of feedback on this game. I feel like I am going to be a particle of dust in a sandstorm, but...
I have played this game more than twice. I went through the first time being a little bit of a horn-dog and got quick-ended by being a "douchebag." I could not resist. I didn't realize when I first played it that the game was going to be so sex-heavy. I thought I would have to work much harder as the MC to have sex. I also figured that there was going to be a need for extensive secrecy. Not so. So, if all you are looking for is a FAP-game, this game is pretty amazing. However, that is with one MAJOR CAVEAT. That being that the premise of the game is so fucking creeping. Yup, I thought that this was going to be either very tongue-in-cheek (no pun intended) or end up being a true morality play. The latter may be true, as I completed chapter 2 and the story clearly is not done.
Like many of you too, I got stuck for a little bit on the thug breaking in and trying to rape the daughter character and figured out I had to spin back to the self-defense thing.
I like the mechanics of the game. I like a lot of the characters of the game. The writing overall is reasonable. But, alas, I am freaked out about how "all-in" the author seems to be on the incest angle. Every chance for there to be an incestuous interacction and it happens. I tried to avoid it on occasion (like when in the mother's house or in the park) but it can't be avoided. I COULD avoid an encounter with Georgina (why?!?). It's too much for me. The incest theme recurs so many times, in so many permutations, in so many settings! You get the idea. The MC abuses his daughter multiple times in multiple ways. It's just not hot ad infinitum. I feel like my soul is damaged for playing this game...
I vote for the MC to burn in hell in Chapter 3-- that the picture of him and his daughter gets out and he gets his kharmic reward.
Maybe I am seriously in the minority on this. Maybe not? It was too much for me...

I can appreciate if this game isn't for you and there are legitimate reasons why incest shouldn't occur in real life but the game's called dating my daughter. Corrupting her is kind of the point.

Totally legit and I don't think you're in the minority... I just don't understand it. When it comes to sexual fantasies... people lose their shit. And that's fair.
But when it comes to other fantasies... it's fine. When it comes to killing games, lowballing... I've killed over 500k people (if you include elves, etc...) since computer games were invented.
Half a million... people. (closer to 2 mil really, but I don't want to exaggerate).
And many (most?) people understand it's a fantasy... despite the availability of guns, knives, cars... not magic... real things that can fuck people up good.
Heck, look at Game of Thrones... Mountain vs Viper... what happens there is in front of the world leaders... and arc of the winner? Rewarded with more people to kill (keeping it vague to remove spoilers).
That passes go.
But watch / play certain sexual fantasies... and people freak.
The people aren't really dead in action movies. The people aren't really related in incest porn videos. They aren't even people in video games / comics books (well... maybe the ink bottles are related... I don't know for sure). But whatever... heh.
If people talk "availability of acting on it"... watch Halloween (any version) with Michael Meyers and a very available 2 dollar kitchen knife. And WATCHING that movie (not emulating it, ofc) is legal.
But, in many countries... certain sexual fantasies... even if animated... are illegal... or at the very least immoral enough to get you fired.
The law is the law. Follow the law in your country. If DMD is illegal there... DON'T PLAY IT.
But I do get a certain "Hmmm." moment when I hear that Patreon is banning incest ROLEPLAY and ANIMATED games... but I can turn on Game of Thrones (or a myriad other mainstream movies)... and there's incest there... and in some of them... it's a positive thing.
The takeaway though: most people can see violent murders, mass murders, planets blowing up... and that's fine. But 2 family members share an intimate moment... torches and pitchfork time.
Anyhow... I'm off to watch a totally legal Halloween about a guy with a 2$ kitchen knife...
