I agree that is the old paradigm, but even in the real world times are changing. My one problem I have with seeing D as a model is her height. Most designers and advertisers prefer models who are tall and often not that busty.
D is a total hottie. She is rather petite with unusually huge tracks of land for her size yet ironically this seems to be counter to what are desired qualities in successful models.
I can see D becoming more of a "glamour" model, which will undoubtedly lead to nude shoots.
On a semi-unrelated note I can see D and the MC going to gentlemen's club where D ends up on the pole. This would facilitate her and her father's emerging fetish of D exposing herself in public, and help D's self-confidence.
Seriously I can't remember all of the girls who claimed dancing (as a one time thing) boosted their self-confidence.
Petite models making it big - not the 5’1” model:

I can say if we continue in the current trajectory, D won’t need to go risqué for her career. However, due to story needs (and needs to see D nude or partially nude, etc, D will have the opportunity imo to do a risqué photo shoot or two.
