Okay, but you can't take out the Incest element out of it. That turns this game into a game like Melody. Thats the whole point of this game, which is why Mr.Dots almost cancelled the game after Patreon didn't allow for Incest. That's why there were so many different fetishes being touted at the beginning of development. Incest allows other depravity to be implemented more easily. She's already fucking her Dad, so why can't she participate in other more Taboo actions? You take that element away, and the prospect of a girl you fell in love with doing all sorts of depraved acts seems a little more far fetched. Which hurts your immersion by challenging your suspension of disbelief.

Id argue the game only even did as well as it did on the back of the IC content and notoriety it gained from getting the Streisand Effect after Patreon banned it. I feel for the dev but simping out to sharing etc fanatics instead of just closing the book after chapter 2 was his own doing and as others have concerned about it does feel he is chewing off more than he can handle. Melody was long made and completed by now but DMD slogs on for another year at least.

It's a shared universe. The dad from Sunshine was in this episode too.
Back in Chapter 2, when you took Maddie and Elena to the farm there was a point you were in a restaurant and Amy from Melody was there.

That said, chronologically they are out of order.

Melody happens first. We know this because the other singer that D likes is just starting out in Melody.
So if Ruby is Melody's daughter, that might make sense.

DMD is next

Sunshine is the most recent in the timeline. We know this because "Kristina" looks like D because she made herself look like "that really famous model". Also Georgina is the girl's sister and talked about if she was with the Dad or not.
