Why do all versions eventually get released for free? I do not know, maybe palmer reads this thread and knows we play his gave for free so after he makes his money he gives it out because he values the satisfaction he receives from people playing his game too. Unfortunately money pays more bills than satisfaction.
This is just speculation I may be completely incorrect in my assessment, you'd have to ask palmer.
@RustyV Because I want anyone that wants to play the game is able to. Believe me, I get enough (actually even more) feedback from paying patrons than from people after a chapter becomes free. Also, at the same time I have to fund a full development studio that spends A LOT of time on all of our games. Plus, we are currently expanding to release 3 games for $10, which means even more people in our dev studio (12). There's currently no other creator that does this on Patreon for that money. If I did this for cash I would release exclusive Patreon content for $20, or not even release the games for free at all. I have released every single game I have made for free. Hope that answers your comment.

Added new mirrors, added missing cracks, added new samples, updated tags, fixed OP.

We'll add a new banner soon.

It would be nice if "mini games" were added to description would save people from wasting there time downloading it. Too bad too because the girls renders were nice and the story somewhat interesting, oh well on to the next one....

This game looks really intresting, but gotta ask since Im new to this and I maybe dumb.
But that is the difference between the official versions and the cracked versions?
And is there something special you need to do to play these as they are several chapters, or do you just go through them one by one? ^^

Ok just started play ( love the graphics) so here is dumb question 2. Is it my computer or does it normally take several seconds between frames? I've never experienced this with before and checked it against L&S and that game was fine. Also there seems to be a hide in the menu bar, but no snap shoot. Is that right? Thx for your last response, ccx

Plenty of games manage not to break previous saves in a single game file, and it could just as easily have been fucked up with this release model. The reason it isn't is that previous saves have largely no effect on the story, not that the chapters are individual programs.

And this means you cannot replay previous chapters without quitting and starting up the previous chapters, you can't change a previous decision and skip ahead to a further point without problems (again, not a problem for this game where choices don't matter, but that would be fatal for most other games).

Literally the only argument against single-executable games is a large download size, which is a very weak argument, as a) there are almost always compressed releases available and b) even assuming you have a shitty connection... so what. You waited a month for a new version, can't wait another hour or two to download it? And if you have a fast connection, it's just another few minutes...

And not to mention that setting up incremental downloads would also be possible for single-executable games, if people cared to do it. Most developers don't, and as a consumer, neither do I.

Tl;dr, this release model is very annoying. But there will be a single game in the end, apparently, so it's only annoying for those among us who can't wait that long. And for this game in particular, I can put up with it.

A bigger issue is that it's not Ren'Py. The game controls are just awful. But that's another story...

Yes, many devs manage to progress without breaking saves but far too many don't. You may not mind being forced to start all over again but lots of us, myself included, absolutely hate it. Doing the same thing over and over with nothing to show for it but a vague and sometimes false promise of something great down the line, when & if the game's finished, takes a game from being a fun distraction and puts it closer to being a chore.

As for your argument on "large download size": I have a plenty fast enough connection but I also have a monthly bandwidth cap. I can't just change providers 'cause all the ones available where I live have the same, only differing in the amount they charge per 10GB over your cap. As I get all my television over the 'net I don't usually have a whole lot of extra bandwidth to play with. Even compressed versions add up.

Whether or not devs could could set-up incremental updates for their games is immaterial because none of them DO. I've seen a few where you have to suffer through the same "download the whole thing over & over again" for a while but then they complete the "chapter" and start a new chapter. That's better than most release models here in that the size of each chapter is smaller than complete games but you still have to go through the same "dl over & over" and the same risk of broken saves while the chapter is under development. It's still a faulty model. Separate complete chapters like this or update patches like Glassix are simply the best way to do this outside of waiting until a game is complete to release a beta, like most software.

As for the engine: I like Ren'Py best, too, but I really have no problem with this game's controls beyond missing being able to rollback text because I inadvertently double-clicked and skipped a line.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree, 'cause I can't see any merit whatsoever in your argument and I'm not about to change mine. I'm sure you probably feel the same and there's no point in continuing this any further.

'Bye.

I'm not familiar with your other 2 games. What can you tell us about them?
