Version 12.6 - Familiar Face
Hi everyone!
Today's update serves as an opening for the next personal quest, which is Jodi's! It seems like Ian Deo is causing trouble for you again... but wasn't he already taken care of? He's still got his nasty attitude, and he's got a pretty strange surprise to show the world... I'm planning on theming this quest around a lot of cognitive distortion and how our dear main character may not be the only one with the ability to manipulate others easily. We'll be learning a fair amount about Jodi's family in this one, as her immediate family will be relevant to what's happening in a nearby city.
This will also be the first quest to have an extended ending (which will also lead into another side quest), if certain requirements were met in both Chapter 1 and the introduction to Chapter 2. I don't want to spoil too much, but there's a minor faction I've been itching to explore that was introduced by a side-character from Chapter 1 that will be revealed to be very relevant to this quest. Without spoiling which character I'm referring to, you'll be good to go if you've filled out your entire character chart in Chapter 2 so far.

Looks like the file containing the short intro disappeared, but I've remade it. It'll be working again in the next update. Thanks for the heads-up!

Played this a few hours and was really good and had a lot of fun but I have one question are women completely avoidable? Some I really don't want to have any scenes with can these be completely avoided or are we stuck?

There are going to be a lot of women that are optional, primarily over chapter 2 and 3. There are some characters that are integral to the plot that will not be avoidable, but all side characters will be avoidable

Version 12.7 - Corporate Espionage
Hi everyone!
After a week of vacation, then a week of being sick after vacation, we've finally arrived at our next update! This is a special one, because it's the first part of the rollout of the new UI I commissioned! So far, we've implemented the new text box as well as the new choice boxes! I'm still floating around the practicality of keeping the old version around as an option, but for now, I'd like to know what you guys think of the new look! I am expecting some issues on mobile, due to my limited ability to test, so please let me know if you notice them!
I'm also looking into having a setting to switch between the new and old version of the text box, but due to formatting changes, this looks to be a tougher change than I was expecting. Stay tuned for details on that in the future.
Aside from the UI updates, there's a small continuation of Jodi's personal quest! There's only a couple scenes, but I've just about laid the groundwork of what's been going on around DeoCity, and I've introduced a couple new important characters.
In terms of other changes, there's a few bug fixes (especially involving the mysterious disappearance of the shortened introduction). I've also added a "hint" option with Sarah for the quiz during her personal quest! This should help out people who may get stuck!
