I'd suggest making a few more characters, and then render them together in small groups, to decide what skins match best together under a couple of different light conditions. It isn't always obvious right away, but sometimes, placing two characters together emphasizes that one has a very bland or under-detailed skin. Or that one skin makes a character look slightly cartoony, which may not be visible at first, but becomes apparent when placed next to a different character.View attachment 549261
I need some help. I have been developing characters for a story and I am trying to decide which of these 5 is the best choice for the MC. They are all built on the same shape but with different skins giving each a little uniqueness. If you are up to, just hit me up with which you think is best. Opinions are also welcome.
Differences in SSS also become way more noticable when you put different characters together. Usually you'll tweak the light to match the skin of a character (as well as Daz Studio doing that automatically to a small degree), but when you put multiple characters together, that isn't always possible without messing up the skin of other characters.
