Iray isn't better. It is just for smth totally different, compared to Filament. You don't use Filament for stills or pre-rendered animations. You use it for realtime renderings like games, or VR apps. It is pretty much the same discussion we had with Blender 2.80 and Cycles vs. Eevee.

Good start, nice posing. The shader for the water doesn't really work though. It looks like she's bathing in mist.
