Starting with your Model:

If you want to put down a Reflective surface, It's very simple. All you have to do is put down a Flat Plane Primitive.

Then we go to Surface tab, select the plane and make the metallicity 1.00.

Now when you go into Iray Preview, the floor is now a mirror!
