You can turn a head that far but you have to start the twist at lower neck and twist both neck joints and head together. I sometimes even take some shoulder twist in the mix just to stay anatomically correct.

This was one of my toughest poses to get right. The angles are pretty extreme and I had to turn off several joint limits to make it.
I got some assistance from a licensed wushu trainer to get this pose as correct as possible but I had to tweak for quite some time to not have the model look broken.
But I did succeed and that trainer asked for a copy of this art to use as an example in some of his classes.

Outstanding! Is it good to remove limits on the joints? I know some poses ask before if you want to turn it off.
