Humanity has only established contact with the Zfarn civilisation just over two years ago. Unlike the rest of the sapient and sentient species encountered by Humanity, the Zfarns are one of a handful of species that fit the humanoid shape, and from a mammalian-like species. Males stand at approximately 1.8 meters in height, females at 2 meters. The Zfarns possess two arms, ending in a three fingered hand and an opposable thumb, two legs that end in very human looking feet. Their eye colour tends to run from strong yellow to light pink. Their skintone seems to be various hues of purple, with blood vessels close to the surface on the sides and on the chest. Apparently, this is quite similar to Human blushing.
The Zfarns have proven to be an ascetic, but curious, race. While Human civilisation has built itself around technology, culture and entertainment, it is perhaps surprising that the Zfarns have never engaged in cultural entertainment quite like Humanity has. Concepts like plays, movies and concerts have shocked the Zfarns, enough that they have sought a cultural exchange.
Studies have shown that the Zfarns are biologically sensitive to low end sound, a fact that was discovered when several Zfarn spontaneously orgasmed to a bass solo at a heavy metal concert. This has also lead to the discovery that the Zfarn are unused to a species that is heavily sexualised, leading to some...interesting encounters between Humanity and their newest galactic neighbours.
Lets be honest. If humanity met a new alien species, we'd spend a couple of hours amazed and contemplating what this means for our species....and immediately afterwards, we'd be trying to figure out how to have sex with them and how quickly we can make porn.
