I do the same here. In fact all of my single slider morphs have been resized to make an approximately 195 cm (6') male at least as tall as the tallest female character with heels on. Many VN dev never seem to care about proportions as they use most assets straight from DAZ so the overly tall males appear to fit with overly tall females.

And you are also correct about vehicles, if they are 'to scale' (or pulled from someplace else like a Forza or other game asset) then it is hard to fit models inside of them.
That red Ford Thunderbird I used in my last render I posted I reduced to 93.7% to get the scale exact.

Interesting, in the few Forza Horizon / Forza 4 conversions I did a while back I could use them at 100% but a 100% model would have it's head pop through the roof of the vehicle. Also the few CAD motorcycle models I converted had the same issue, but worked perfectly with models scaled down to between 5'4" - 5"6".

BTW in the U.S. the median height for Adult Females is right around 5"4.5" (18 - 70 years). Just under half the pop is taller the other half shorter.

Daz models do have the tendency to be on the tall side. They're almost all atleast 1m80cm (5.9ft)
I have a measuring asset I use on all my models and props. Cars are particularly problematic in scale.
Still a lovely image with these two ladies.
Just a quick scale reference I use for the G8F model.

100% = 5'10.73"
90% = 5'4"
80% = 4'8.58"
70% = 4'1.51"
60% = 3'6.44"
50% = 2'11.36"
40% = 2'4.29"
30% = 1'9.22"
20% = 1'2.14"
10% = 7.07"
