New to 3D? and you have done so well!!! Why not learn Blender then?? just my 2 cents...if you are young (teens or early 20s), start 3d early if you enjoy it. If you start late, you wont get time with work etc. I so wish i could turn back time... :( For me, time is a luxury now...

Wow this is great work, especially for your first upload. The placement of elements in the room are great. I really like the expressions and clever set up to make the scene feel alive.
My only suggestion might be that your spot light from the camera casts a bit of a harsh shadow. You could eliminate that by changing the light geometry to disk or sphere, something other than point. Then adjust the HxW and lumins to taste.
