Hi there!
I couldn't do much recently 'cause my laptopatoe was seriously overheating (CPU at 99°C ).

So here is a little something, nothing fancy but hey... I do what i can with my frying pan.

I'm working on some cave environments for my game and daz is really being a bitch about it. Finding any information on the shader is pretty much impossible and i'm left doing trial and error.


The water needs a lot of work but i have no idea whats wrong with it or how to fix it. First off it doesn't really look like water and for some ungodly reason there are these random lights reflecting off it and i cant find a source for them.

Looks like you’re well on your way, mate!

Clearly not lazy in figuring out the fit (and how to modify). Some other sensibilities shown there that require invested effort. If you feel encouraged by those results you oughta be; eyes are on it properly. Just keep on noodling around with it all, eh - endless issues and ideas to discover. Enjoy!

Are there any videos/guides/tutorials you could recommend that really helped? Your render is just so photorealistic and clean

Frankly, there is not a significant tutorial to get such results as the renders I posted here, but I mostly try to learn techniques, tips&tricks by watching videos the youtube channels of DAZ 3D (official) and The WP Guru, and practicing.
