Face Transfer isn't that great in my opinion, it's too hit & miss. Also the more I look at the 'photo' the more I think it's a Daz Model, shape of the lips, perfect eyebrows, even the shape of the eyes...
Yeah it really does... I have used face trans a couple of times, and your right it is hit or miss...

Progress on a custom Mirialan character from Star wars! Not even remotely finished. However, finally figured out how to go from Daz to Substance painter then back to Daz again. So, one step onward!
A combination between shrinkwrapping geometry around the model in blender, rendering in Dazstudio and rendering in layers, and then utilizing webbing brushes in GIMP.
