What do you prefer Full light or Candlelight ?

Candle light looks better imo

Damn, I wish I could do that. You must have one beast of a machine to be able to do it that fast.
It all depends on optimization. I don't have a beast of a machine, but did something similar with 8 characters in a scene recently in about 20 minutes rendering time ;)

View attachment 276364 Debating on swapping out the Alien Life theme for a more fantasy focused style... Which would you all prefer?
Noooooo you can't go for fantasy, that was my plan for my next project^^
Nice chars tho :)

Hmm, I'm working on a fantasy project as well. Though Enyos, you should do whatever you are interested in.
Well you all better figure it out because every adult game needs to have a unique theme. No duplication or repetition allowed!

Unless you want to tell a story about a big dicked kid whose dad died and he's moving in with his mother and sisters. That would be something new. You know what, never mind. I call dibs on that idea!

Yeah, still haven't figured that part out yet. At the moment, a single character with basic lighting and no background would take me about 3 hours to render so I need to figure out how, if at all, I can get that down to a more reasonable time. I'm still quite the clueless noob on about 90% of what Daz can do and the terminology for a lot of stuff is like a foreign language to me, so don't know how easy it will be for me.

Aaaand here we go guys, its been ages since i last posted something here, and thats due mostly to my very crappy hardware.
Anyway let me introduce you Stephanie. A 38 years old woman and mother of two splendid child, a bright teen boy and an energetic little girl. Steph currently work as a teacher in a public school, but one year ago she lost her husband and now she's struggling to end the month with what little she earn from her job.
Now in the past couple of weeks she got in touch with a photographer, which asked her if she could be his model for some artistic shoots he would like to take. Having heard about the compensation she accepted the spike of the moment, but then Steph realised that as time marches on for her she feels less and less attractive and sexy. So now she fear to happear old and ugly in the eye of others.
What do you think about her guys?

Wow i wrote sooo much. And i think im starting to like giving atleast a basic background to my character , it makes them kinda more alive. Anyway if i made some mistake in the pic or in the text feel free to correct me.

@Nomec104 Yeah sure, I used as a base. I didn't quite like how it turned out out of the box ( character turned super tanned and lots of black dots on droplets etc. ), but the textures were good, so I tried to fiddle with them a little until I got something more to my liking. There's screenshots of my final shader in attachments.

I'm not really an expert with Iray shaders, so I'm sure there's still lots to improve, but at least it's a good starting point. Main point really is, that if you want more visible droplets, you need to increase cutout opacity. In my render, cutout opacity was at 0.2

Oh, and I noticed funny thing while I was playing around, that pretty much everything uses translucency in Iray shaders ( skin, hair etc... ). In Blender translucency is really slow shader node to render, so I tried and set translucency weight to zero in all materials, and just modified base color to my liking.... and boom, suddenly 15 minute render turned to 7 minute render. Sure translucency looks a little bit better, but if you lack good render computer, it's a neat trick to drop your render times to tolerable levels :)

View attachment 276658 Just a conceptual neko character, playing with morphs and assets. There's certainly a few things that need changed that I didn't catch till the render was well in.
I like the concept but the lighting is not what i am used from you. Its way to bright in my personal opinion. I keep focusing on the grass that looks almost fluorescent green. And the wall looses all texture. So besides the obvious clipping issues i would tome down the lighting a bit.
