This one is at the very least better than the one that was released mostly from before.
It could be second best after to trust an incubus.
But of course, their story is still mediocre.
There are some of their games that I liked, despite them being short. But I think I just had really high expectations for this one, or maybe the contrast between gorgeous art and music vs writing is just so big...
For example, there's this other fox dude that is a sort of "villain" in Momo's route... and I won't spoil it, but I thought it's an interesting concept, however, we see that dude, like, two times. First time you wonder "what's up with this dude", second time you find out and, bam, he's defeated. It's just so rushed, but it could've been interesting!
But now that I think, I think the whole story covers a very short time? Like, 3-4 days at most. Like, first day he meets all the characters, and by the 4th day, all conflict has happened and been resolved and the story has come to an end. MC has awakened his power and now he can use it and all that stuff.
Interesting stuff is introduced, but never elaborated on. I would love to find out more about places that Momo visits (we see them when he uses his portals, but it's so brief and it kinda leaves you hanging) and some other stuff (don't want to spoil too much).
Like, I genuinely like the idea for the story, but I am so, sooooo disappointed by its execution...
Edit: And the sex scenes omg... The art is so gorgeous, but descriptions are so poor, 3-4 short, plain sentences and not engaging at all, like... "Before I know it, he's inside me. I can't. He licks my neck. I cum."
Not exactly like this (this was probably a bit too mean), but you get it. Just really short and plain.
