Checking back in since I really enjoyed the game mechanics from your first build. I didn't find the difficulty to be an issue, since the game essentially autosaves at the end of the level letting you replay if needed.

Hoping you haven't abandoned this project because it looks promising.

Some of these rules are going to have to be revised. You're too powerful early on and there's zero extra payoff for smart moves.

Yes, if there were a way to smartly use that early over-power to get a better build for the later rounds (like fighting elite enemies in other Spire-likes), that would help with the difficulty spikes a lot.

...This game should honestly be split into "gamer" and "fapper" difficulty levels (players who want some sexy images within a legitimately challenging roguelike, versus players who want to beat off while doing something that vaguely resembles a card game).

It is easier to play now but I hv a few commenst:
1) It would be good to save the game
2) It would be good to go back to the last successfull level
3) The update frequency should be faster, much faster

For mission 17, first play "walk your dog" so you can take out the museum curator. Then play "introspective", "liquid courage", then "rizz them all", in that order, and you will take out all three opponents then just x out of the shop card and win.
For mission 18, go into the shop and buy the fancy watch and take out the museum curator. Then play "tell a joke" then "show your true colors" to take out the artifact appraisal lady.
For mission 19, first play "intimidating gaze" on the smug passerby and take him out. Then cast "speak from the heart" on the alpha male then take out all the other rivals while he takes their strength. Once all the other rivals are gone play "facepalm them" on the alpha male and take him out and x out of the gift to win.
For mission 20, first play "introspective" then take out the team player. Then play "repress jealousy" on the park officer. Finally play "walk your dog" and take out the girl working out.
Mission 11 is currently bugged and unbeatable.

Oh, I'm happy to hear that confirmed about Mission 11. It was the only one I could never clear and I wondered if I was missing something.
