Game is great, good renders, fun interesting characters, and an actually appealing story - i really like the detective feeling. Canøt wait for more updates!

During the last night before you hit the bed when you decide to look at ellie's pictures on instagram, after the third pic I guess, it gets into a loop in which you continue from ellie leaving the office and you go to the bar, watch the game etc.

Anybody with the bugs can you make sure you're running the game from start in v.01
If you had v0.0, that was a demo, it wasn't supposed to end up here before v.01 and it doesn't roll on to v.01 or have any compatibility with it. It was like a pre-release teaser demo, not an update or a release.
The Instagram loop for example was something I had big trouble fixing and was definitely in the v0.0 script but I thought it was eliminated in v.01 and I didn't manage to replicate it in any of my own tests before I published v.01.
If it has come up again I'll have another look, but if it's a v0.0/v.01 merged save I can't fix it, you need to start from the beginning on v.01.

This is a very good start and a solid 0.1 version.
I like the setting and that there were no absurd creepy stuff in it so early. I liked Shadows over Manston, but I get why he has to put it onhold, with the points he made.
I will keep both eyes on this and I hope we will see regular and well sized updates.

Oh okay then. I played from a 0.0 save, so maybe that was the problem, and unfortunately I can't start a new game and check it out now.

Homeearly not being defined is a v0.0 bug. Please start again from v.01
There's a bug with the dialogue in the pub after watching the full game with Stephanie, after the menu where you can ask for her number or just say bye there's a check to see if you won the bet or not. The dialogue in both cases refers to getting her number but it plays even if you didn't ask her so that section should really be embedded in the ask for her number section instead of outside it.

I really like this creators games but I am afraid he is going to run into the same problems as he did with "Shadows over Manston".
There may be spoilers here so if you have not played "Shadows over Manston" yet, you may want to avoid this post. White Phantom writes really well and there is a whole lot going on in Shadows and that was where the game started to fall apart. Too many things happening and too many characters to keep things going in a game format, especially a format where porn is involved. Shadows could have been broken down into at least four games and all of them would have been good. (My favourite would have been a story about a guy who is injured at work and has a wife who is a little distant, a step daughter who is in love/lust with him and a sister-in-law who he has knocked-up....instead that was all buried in Shadows with a whole lot of other stories going on as well).
I am hoping the same thing (too much complexity) doesn't happen with "Defending Lydia Collier". It is only the opening strokes and we already have the following potential romantic interests: Secretary; Police officer 1; Police Officer 2; Former Girlfriend; Accused Murderer; Accused Murderer's Sister (OK maybe not but I don't see how she won't be involved); Accused murderers girlfriend; Secretary's Girlfriend. There is a potential murder, a kinky sex story and a potential government conspiracy all interconnected.............and we are only at the second day. My 2 cents worth is that White Phantom would be better off going things down a little and have just a few girls available to the MC within the context of the story. Then concentrate on getting a game finished and put to bed.
I love White Phantom's writing and kinkiness and want to see him have great success.
