Hello everybody!

I've now finally finished all of the coding changes I wanted to make for the computer and phone.

You can download this and test it out if you'd like, and let me know what you think!

This is the overall framework for the computer, there's still content to be inputted into it, but that doesn't require testing.

Eg if the news articles from Day 1 work, then Day 2 and Day 3 will also work as they use the exact same code as Day 1, they just pull the images and text from the Day 3 list rather than the Day 1 list.

This will completely replace all phone and computer interactions within the game in v.0.17.1, and should pretty much get rid of all the bugs, and also make everything a lot better as I have a ton of lore stuff, new pictures etc to pump in with it.

Let me know what you think, preferably in Discord if possible as everybody can type there regardless of what site you've got this from (incase your bug has already been reported), but here is fine too.

If everything is good it will just be a case of copy and pasting all the old content into the new code format, making Tiffany's new scene (she won the poll) and v.0.17.1 will be complete.

I've intentionally made this public as its relevatively boring to test and I don't want anybody subbing for this specifically thinking its an actual new BETA for the game, so hoping to just get as many people as possible.

There's nothing new in this in terms of scenes/content.

Damn... I thought the game was winding down... :LOL:

ugh as much as I'd rather WP worked on more scenes with the LIs before the iinevitable rushed endings happen, I have to say, it's probably a good idea to fix the annoying bs in the game, if only for posterity.

I think the WPComputer is a nice addition to the system.
The Herald is missing and the font of Betone is terrible.

I guess you could either unpack the archive files (so you have RPYs and not just RPAs), open them with a text editor, and then make changes that way. You'd need to delete the RPAs, though, so you don't have conflicts that would otherwise occur.

The alternative might be to use a find-and-replace function in a new RPY file and then add that to your main \game folder. Just have that function implement txt.replace("originalText","newTextToUse") to swap out originalText with newTextToUse. You'll need to reuse txt.replace() for each line of dialogue you're trying to replace throughout the game.

Just FYI, if you go with the second option, realize that I was giving pretty generalized examples. For instance, txt would be what you define as the parameter of the function; in the example I've linked below, the equivalent would be text instead. The initial reply in that thread (so not the very top post, but just under that) is where the correct code is shown; you don't need the RegEx part of that example (such as import re) if you're not planning on using regular expressions to catch variations in spelling, partial words, etc.

Hi fellow wanderers, i just started and binged through. I ended up joining the cult of steph. Steph is queen! First game Ive played where i care about the slutty one.

This game really needs a multi mod. It's too hard to choose between Steph and Ellie (I hope I got the names right, it's been a while since I played lol) ):

Normally Kinky Hardcore LIs in a mostly vanilla game are ignored by the fanbase and prefer romantic girls. But, Bimbo Steph is the popular choice here lol. Impressive that she have significant number of fanbase in this game.
