The overall plot is nearing the end, but because of the number of branches it'll be a while before all story strands are fully completed.

Wait, so does that mean that the update we are waiting for, will contain the rest of Sunday not only for the Lydia/Ellie path, but for everyone/all paths?
No, it means this is the last update for Sunday, as all other paths have been completed.

When the assistant opens the door right here:
The sound makes my headphone freak out and leaves a high pitched sound - scared the bejesus out of me, I thought my headphone broke.
Turned it off and on again, sound was fine.
Scroll back to this location, and the sound does the same over and over.

not sure what are you doing here at the first place, if sound effects are the reason you are playing AVNs.
If the purpose of the game is to play with the sound off... then don't include any sound
