I was always expecting a pretty short playthrough for this build. Whilst he has said its the single largest update in terms of renders (when its all released) its the first time in a very long time that he has advanced all of the routes together.

To me that was always likely going to be that each route does not feel very long to play through and advance, but that you then load up the next route and go again to male it feel like a large update.

Pretty surprised by the routes that made it without lydia scenes from the basement. I'm pretty sure i ddin't end up there with Jenna (or whatever the ex is called), unless i have missed something. That said it's been a long time since I played it so maybe you did.

I really fail to understand the level of incompetence required to fuck up the update this badly after what is approaching a year. Like how is it not the first thing you check where did I last leave the story?

Yeah, I used to support this guy on Patreon, but the utter lack of basic project management skills is... baffling. As in, this person should not be managing what is effectively a company.

Don't think they are in too good a place though, so I don't blame them, but I effectively have given up on the game.

No you dont get the previous content. Its like the other betas, closed. it does have 2 choices that have good options marked, but you cant see the guide for updates, because the previous updates arent there

Agreed... very disappointing

Well yeah, updating all the routes and having only 1650 renders will make it look small. I would suggest playing all the routes to make the wait worthwhile; it's like having 330 renders for each of the characters. It would make it look small if you only play one route.

there are multiple path so it seem like as wide as ocean but as shallow as a pond

all the paths share a few scenes at the beginning and the end, and overall is just kinda means nothing happens on each specific path. If you played the Emma Beta for example - thats basically it. thats her content, same for the other BETAS

So disappointing how this game appears to have run out of momentum. I was pretty optimistic a few years ago because the writing is decent and with so little emphasis on animations you felt like the developer could handle a bit of branching and still deliver lots of content.

I mean, that really seemed like a worthwhile USP - other games focused on animations or voices etc but here was a developer who could make up for what was missing by banging out a well-written story in a fraction of the time. Seems to have lost his way. There is not close to a year of work here.

To be fair he was (allegedly) injured pretty badly so wasn't able to work for quite a few months.
