OMG someone's got mad cause he played a few minutes of the game at the start, and didn't reach the goal when ya actually can go take a shower cause it's available after this 3/3 treatment from KGB Chief Officer Psychologist or whoever he is, in the lab section
No, it's available after the first return trip to the hospital. It does not require talking to the Chief at all (other than the forced conversation during the intro).

So I'm not sure if I've reached "the end" so far. Version 0.4.9.6 (current latest), fresh save from this version, skipped prologue if that affects anything. In-Progress quest list looks like this
all.png

As far as I've understood, "Ghost of communism" and "Movie Magic" can't be completed right now. Under side stories there's an empty quest where the details are empty as well. The other two mains look like this:
main02.png main03.png

I'm not actually sure which leaders I've persuaded, what I've done is:
  • Imperator - painted trees, didn't stab. I've seen scenes posted here which I haven't seen (only saw a scene with the imperator after the no stab choice)
  • Mother - did two scenes until it reported that it is the end of the path
  • Farm - accepted everything, did two dreams and milkings, haystack now says end of the path
Is it possible to continue by taking some other paths? I don't even have access to city center, and people here keep mentioning a library that I have no idea where it is (the residential area one doesn't seem to do anything, so either it's unlocked by something later or there's another library in the city center). Also a prison keeps being mentioned but all I get is a jail that I can get out of by sleeping. I've done everything at the hospital and "New You" (slut route).

Edit: also disabled pregnancy content in the test when entering Vivarium. I hope this does not block any progress, and just skips something?

You can't do that because you're at the very beginning of the game.
Day 2 after your hospital visit, you can shower.
Like the game or not, you haven't even tried to play it.
Didn't even try?

I just did everything the game told me to do and every single time "can't, cuz reasons" with NO further instructions. If I can't do anything that day, don't give me missions. At least say "do it tomorrow" or something. No one accepts missions then ignores them all and skips the day.

Game tells you to do something, you should be able to do it. And if I have to do something else first, tell me what.

No quest said "go to bed". In fact, it specifically said "wake up at night and take the taxi". When I woke at night, Blue Judy 2077 started dialogue about going out, indicating I did exactly what I was supposed to do. Though they also told me to buy Liquor on day 1...

And why would I ever assume the broken shower would suddenly work the next day? In what game has that ever happened?

I slept till the next day. Looked very much like a repeat of the day before. Talked to the girl and again she's all "We gonna drink that liquor I told you to get knowing you can't get it?!" and that's when I shut it the fuck off.

No one can say this game gives proper direction with a strait face. If it says "take a taxi" and the cabbie says "no", then I must've missed something, and have to go do that thing first real quick. Don't wanna proceed if I missed something.

Even the job board trolls you. Click the highlighted job, job board closes? Open back up! I wasn't kidding. I did actually want that job. 1 job highlighted, 2 grayed out. In anyone's mind this means "click the one that isn't grayed out".

After hours of examining everything, it seems like my mistake was doing what the game told me to do, instead of flat out ignoring it all and skipping the day; a thing people don't do when they've accepted missions.

Liquor has nothing to do with taxi though, the taxi is for a different quest later on (where it forces you to wake up and take the taxi, so no issue with having to guess anything). For liquor you go to the bazaar at night (spoiler alert: you still fail to actually get it). So I kinda doubt the liquor related dialogue told you to get a taxi, though I can't say for sure. You *actually* get liquor later when the boys confront you and tell you that it's now in stock at bazaar and then you can just buy it during the day.

And why would I ever assume the broken shower would suddenly work the next day? In what game has that ever happened?
While I agree that a monologue of "maybe I should try taking the shower again" should pop up when it becomes available, some places silently unlocking is fairly common in many games. While that can be annoying, it's certainly not unexpected. If I run out of things *I know* I can do, I always retry all actions that were blocked when I tried them at a previous time, and usually something has unlocked unless I've reached the end of the game.

The job board is not interactive, it's just a list. In some games a paper on a wall somehow magically interacts with you, but that is kinda silly. It tells you what jobs exist, white means you can take that job *if you go to the place where it's given* and greyed out means don't bother trying to find it as it's not unlocked yet.

Except visit the hospital the next day, which is the instruction you were given before you left the hospital.

As for the taxi, your roommate tells you that if you want to go somewhere at night, you'll have to take the taxi, but you, the player, have absolutely no reason to go anywhere at night... except curiosity. The game hasn't told you to go anywhere at night yet.

Technically it does tell you that you can try to steal liquor at night. This doesn't require the taxi though, but this is useless as it fails, but still nice if you want to see all scenes.

The library is first used after you attempt to enter the factory, talk to Joey, enter the factory, and then talk to Razin.
It's used again after the Prison. (Not jail, which is what happens when you commit a minor crime... like assaulting a cop.)
Edit: also disabled pregnancy content in the test when entering Vivarium. I hope this does not block any progress, and just skips something?
There are three cowgirls whose appearance I could change. One of the options they each have makes them pregnant. The main girl at the farm (the one Kira recognizes) is pregnant. Kira is pregnant during the two dream sequences at the farm. Mother is pregnant.
That's all the graphical pregnancy content I've found. Some of the text may be different as well.

Oh I couldn't get into the factory earlier and found some posts here saying it's not implemented yet, but I suppose those were out of date. Managed to progress with factory now that I had done other stuff after it. Thanks.

I see, so no significant story differences.

The game freezes constantly. I can only make it through the memory sequence scenes with Katya and Tolstroy if I hold Z and skip literally all of it, and save in between when I can. Anyone know why the game freezes during extended dialogues like this? It's really, REALLY annoying, because it happens every few minutes and I then need to refresh the game and skip ahead back to where I was.

Framecap maybe ?
Settings>Visual>Synch Monitor Fps On-Off
I had similar issues while working as a waitress, it was on by default, but after switching in off and back on it stopped freezing.

I remember in some games when the framerate was uncapped, and FPS reached over 1000, some animations/fading in the game froze because the game calculated how much it should progress since the last frame by multiplying the number of milliseconds since the last frame rounded down, with the speed of the animation. Above 1000 fps that becomes 0 though, so it never actually progressed. I wouldn't be surprised if such logic is used somewhere in RPGM as well.

Hmm, what makes you think that someone is working on this game. She hasn't moved for 2 years.
Of course it has "moved", just slow progress and even reverse progress since some stuff have been added in a update and removed in the next because it was not properly done or something like that
