You know the change to the game was to make them not underage, right? about 2019 or 2020
Main criticism would be that their mod staff are dishonest about it ever having been changed, but more so it sets a precedent to remove other content due to "being problematic." I find censorship of adult games to be distasteful in general.

Ok, on staff being dishonest yes, that's not great.
And honestly, for me personally it depends on the type of censorship, and the reasons for it, and the reasons for even including the stuff that's being censored in the first place

For me its a minor thing, considering there are alot of reasons, ingame and IRL to not have your character be explicitly underaged. It's mostly just a text change, it still has the same content, its just never explicit about the characters age, which I feel is better since I'd prefer to play an adult, not even speaking of the legality of it.
If i remember correctly, the event will auto trigger as long as you go to the area during daytime. Your PC will strip and run around the block and complete the event.
- Grind your physique: run, swim, play volleyball, do gardening.
- Grind Will: just orgasm a lot in (consensual) encounters.
- Wear heeled boots.

There are games with less features that get updated even more infrequently, is that what you're looking for?
If you think four months without an update is "forever" you are in for a real shock on some games in this forum.

Four months is a little on the long side for DoL, but a cursory check into the GitGud repository page shows that there have been about a gazillion changes over the last four months. They'll finalize it whenever they finish whatever is the major thing they're doing (which I'm not even going to try to figure out). Some games will update every few days, but the changes are "fixed a bug, changed two lines of text": when DoL updates, you know it's going to be a pretty significant set of changes.

The developers have no obligation to post here, as this thread is not created by or run by them. If you want to ask the developers for an ETA, go to their Discord (listed in the OP) and ask there. You may not get an answer there either, but you are certainly more likely to get one there than on this forum.
