v0-5-5-5 Avery bought me from orphanage, but the home location does not update, also the wardrobe in her mansion is empty and if i buy new stuff it goes to orphanage, is that intended?

if it's a bug, is there a console command to update home location?
In gameplay setting you can set Multiple Wardrobes to be "Single shared wardrobe only" it will solve that issue

Unrelated, but we're on right now. Using the newest version helps avoid more bugs.

So I've semi partaken in part of the Avery expansion and my thoughts are simple.

Lack of dungeon fun is telling. Was semi expecting a milking machine down there as well, given their ties to Remy.
Feel like we should be able to express ourself a bit more, specially if we have had prior run ins with certain characters, such as Remy and such.
Kinda was expecting Robin/others to maybe visit us. Sydney would be an interesting visit, specially if we corrupted them properly. Kylar... -shudders- Hooked up to the milk machine for sure. Whitney would also be interesting as well, maybe if we got them sent off they are brought in to be a servant under us?
Would like to have more interactions in the mansion. It feels... empty. No cuddling up to Avery, or other interactions.

Have yet to finish through it properly but I will say I am curious how it all ends. Either being loyal to Avery or rebelling for her safety maybe.

Sad news about SubscribeStar. I truly do hope they're able to flip the revenue switch back on.

I haven't always agreed with the direction of DoL, but I have always really respected every decision and the rationale that goes into it. There is a lot of difficult game design work here, and there is always a good reason behind every decision. This is probably the most comprehensive erotic sandbox game out there. I would hate to see development slow down and/or halt because some third party decides not to let the developers get paid for their work.

Good luck to the devs, and well wishes to the future of this innovative game.

I feel like the PC should start out with at least one basic savory food recipe (scaled by the amount of starting Housekeeping skill) or similar that allows the player to cook from the start and go door to door peddling their goods at the residential streets, like that random event that can be seen of an orphan doing so, instead of needing to set up the Market Stall. This gives the player a reason to actually bother cooking stuff because frankly, the only time I've ever cooked anything was to gift them for the Feats, while also help train Housekeeping. Maybe there could be a few events where one of the random Orphanage events could be the MC giving an orphan money or food (just don't ask when it was cooked, it's still edible!).

Could perhaps even have this give the chance to have Sam (if you haven't met them) take notice of the MC's efforts and ask if they wanted to work at the Cafe (by giving the Cafe its own Kitchen that the Player could sneak into and use while not a Chef yet), while also linking Housekeeping (Cooking) into the Cafe as a Chef (especially if the player doesn't intend to print money through 'cream buns' but be 'legit good chef'), eventually with its own set of jobs like Charlie's, with one of them could be to be a stand-in Chef for a high class party hosted by a certain very picky individual.
Thanks for the ideas. Cooking still feels a bit tacked on mechanically, and these could help. Peddling the PC's food from door to door would be very fitting.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree the mansion feels too empty, and didn't realise until I moved to the testing/bugfixing phase. Most of the work on slice-of-life Avery interactions went into the events that trigger when Avery gets home from work, so having the different rooms of the mansion as regular locations sets up the wrong expectations.

I considered reworking the mansion to a single passage, with the different rooms displayed via UI somehow. I didn't want to delay the update, and wasn't sure if it was worthwhile, though. It would be cool to flesh out the rooms properly in the end, after all.

I agree the dungeon could use more content as well, but I feel that way about most of the game.

"- Added a changing room to the clothing shop, so players can free up space in their wardrobe or quickly save outfits made at the shop."

Dude, this has to be an option since beginning....

You could also incorporate stat modifiers to eating your own food, maybe? Decreasing fatigue/trauma gains, stress loss from sweets, etc. I understand hunger and thirst wasnt included because it was to tedious to manage but this could be a good middle ground.

I don't really like this game, more for gameplay reasons as opposed to content, but it still deserves to exist and I'm sick of payment processors stepping out of their lane.

Or perhaps have some additional uses of food. Like say, making cream pies (out of actual cream or 'cream') and with high enough Skulduggery/Dancing/Foot/Hand skill, during stalking events, one could throw them into the faces of your stalkers to escape, decreasing Stress/Trauma and increasing Control for the PC if they succeeded (especially if managed to succeed against multiple stalkers), or failure leading to either immediate combat or your stalkers starting 'chase mode' with just one step away from catching you, maybe also increasing Stress and/or decreasing Control at the same time. Maybe it'll even give the PC good fame if this succeeded in public (crowded areas) as they'll think it's some public entertainment show, but have a higher chance to fail due to said crowd, which can instead make the situation worse if you hit bystanders (especially if it's a 'cream' pie).

Essentially a move for arrogant PCs who will be the greatest circus clown in the future to use on human enemies where there's distance and as an alternative to using Pepper Spray, without increasing Crime at all (not that accruing Crime is an issue right now, either).

Would love to see more swarm stuff. Is there any way to use deviant stat to interact with swarms? A womb body part for pregnancy/cum/skullduggery stuff would be awesome. A skill for facial expressions and actions to change them would be fun. You could train it by reacting or not reacting to various situations. More stealth sex events where you have to act natural as something/someone is fucking/fingering you. Any public place could have those happen. A parasite/tentacle companion/character like in Igyo no Kimi to / A tentacled Romance would be amazing. New Unbirth/creature inside content. A giant spider den that works like the wolf den would be fun. Maybe a seedbed skill? Again all that could be tied into a womb skill.

First of all, 200 words isn't really that much. You're just lazy.

Second, the two sentences you posted here are the shittiest review I've ever seen. It's generic as hell and says nothing at all. You could apply your "review" to most of the games found here, and I'm glad F95 doesn't allow such crap.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Bet you also use ChatGPT to write your school essays.:KEK:
Please cite to me - where I used the word "review".
Then explain to me - the difference between the words "rate" and "review".

See - If you're going to lambast and ridicule someone,
you might want to ensure you've got your ducks in a row.

it's not 200 words, it's 200 characters. the guy wasn't just lazy at writing, he's lazy at reading too. and y'all also lazy at fact-checking, lol
About as lazy as everyone here are at reading...
...or understanding the difference between "rating" and "reviewing".

Speaking as someone that loves to cheat so I can enjoy the game my own way:

Pleeeeeaaaassseeee make the "unlock recipes" cheat that's in DoL+ available in the vanilla version of the game. It's getting kind of frustrating having Avery go "I want ___" and having to go "damn well I don't know that", learning it in the study, then learning I don't have the ingredients so I can't make it anyway. Either that or make the event where you come across the person selling the Big Ass Recipe Book a little less rare.
I camped out at the market for three days straight and no event. I'm tireddddddddddddd.

people who didn't play the game should have no influence over the game's rating. but there is no way to check whether one played the game or not. therefore the next best thing is to require a small, say 200 characters review, to give people who are checking the rating something to work with to decide whether the rating is authentic and worthy of their consideration when forming an opinion of the game before they play it themselves. if you can't provide as much - your rating is indistinguishable from that of a mindless bot, and is therefore useless.

it's a modded event. there is no big ass recipe book in vanilla. or small ass recipe book. or ass recipe book...

Most reviews are useless, especially the ones on more exotic games like this one; there are only a couple of people here whose reviews I take the time to read.

F95 refers to them as reviews very prominently. It's your fault for being too lazy to pay attention before you hit enter and your crappy two sentences got rejected. So you deserve all the ridicule.:KEK:
The case-and-point which every fanboi seem to miss,(not calling you one),
is that I wish I could JUST click a star - without having to provide ANY sort of writing.
Too lazy to write a short review, but somehow you find plenty of energy to write multiple posts bitching and moaning about the "injustice" that happened to you.:LUL:

i often find that to be the case as well, but rating is a more accessible indicator of people's opinions about the game than reviews are. and having an insight into why they left the rating that they did - i think it provides more value for both devs and players. if the review is useless - the associated rating is also useless by extent, which is especially important for new games that can be ruined by a couple of 1-star reviews
