I don't remember any chick die in my gameplay but this game have a story that forks a lot and drastically so it might depend. Is Rose supposed to die????
is this a fanart or in the game?
No idea where you got those hints, but they are totally wrong. Nothing of the sort happens. Once you enter the sharing path, you always have the option to choose not to consent a particular scene, and of course this doesn't prevent the MC from getting a happy, loving ending with Kat. You can only lose her if you play around too much with other girls and neglect her.If you always share and remain faithful to Kat, are you "doomed" to an ending where that explicit consent is removed? I've read hints about a "public wife ending" and Kat being impregnated by another man.
Thanks, I'm sorry if it sounds like I misread things. Started playing Deliverance under the exact impression that you described, a story where you could "spice things up" in various ways, and navigate the line without crossing it, that is to say, that Kat would be fine with the MC's adventures with other girls, as long as she herself were not neglected in any way. It would fit her disposition to a more risky relationship, although it does feel strange that, even with the MC sharing Kat, they never talk about other girls and the MC. There are clearly choices to avoid, when returning home you find a distraught/disappointed Kat.No idea where you got those hints, but they are totally wrong. Nothing of the sort happens. If you are using mods and WT, you are already playing safe, I guess. It's been years since I last played the game but you can sleep with others, just try to focus on Kat above everyone else and you should be fine. Maybe picking her option 2 out of every 3 times you can choose where/who to go. You can still be friends with other girls and they'll be fine too, if you are on the 'good guy' path there shouldn't be any tragic consequences. Thanks, I'm sorry if it sounds like I misread things. It seemed like there was a case to be made for "utilitarian ethics" in this game, where your actions could be measured by the "greater good" - in this case, the greatest satisfaction, including some degree of indulgence, to all parties involved - instead of a strict moral code.
But there seem to be consequences and the WT isn't too clear about them. I'm still not sure "how much cheating is cheating", when you mention the MC shouldn't play around too much with other girls. Is any physical contact the red line? For example, when Sarah's feeling vulnerable it makes sense for you to hang around a little longer to support her. It will earn you points with her.
At several points in this tread I read that earning any amount of points with other girls "puts you on their path". It sure seems like letting your relationship with them advance past a certain point, there's going to be a choice in the future and someone is going to be disappointed/hurt, but when people say you should focus solely on Kat and completely ignore other girls, is that a requirement for some sort of "best ending with Kat", or a general rule to play it safe? Don't mean to offend those that prefer a deeper and more consistent roleplay, where caution and risk avoidance can be, like in real life, a sound choice, but it sounds a bit boring, to me, in a game with a certain amount of kinky fantasy content in it, to avoid risky choices altogether...
If my goal is to get the best ending for all, keeping girls as close as possible, while not losing Kat, not hurting anyone's feelings and avoiding tragic outcomes to any characters if at all possible, what's the best outcome I can aim for, and how do I navigate there, considering I'm using both the pdf and the mod WTs?
I got a great ending. A bit of a Frodo Baggins feel to it, though - but the MC lived happily ever after with K, all of their friends survived and all reunited frequently. Only one loose end, Rose. She was fine, too, but didn't join the team in their reunion, instead, she ran away on her own and was shown to be well, but disconnected from the rest. And for some reason I failed to save the SWAT soldiers, at that point the WT mod showed a puzzling single choice tagged "villain: no love routes left". Which was clearly not the case, since I got a loving end, but had me pretty worried at the time. I chose to "befriend" the demon, while working behind her back, would I have needed to antagonize her instead, in order to get other options, namely to save the soldiers, and perhaps avoid getting wounded in the final combat? You can still be friends with other girls and they'll be fine too, if you are on the 'good guy' path there shouldn't be any tragic consequences.
Congrats on getting your desired ending! Rose always runs away, the only difference being that you can run away with her (if you're on her path), or she can even end up killed. The SWAT soldiers can only be saved on a very particular 'redemption' path, linked with Sarah (you must be on the evil path while romancing Sarah, and at some point, she tries to push you toward the good path again: then, in this scene, you can tell the demon you'll finish the soldiers off but then let them escape). So, on your path, there was nothing you could do for them. The WT was being updated after each chapter came out and I guess at that point the author must have thought failing to save the soldiers meant you were stuck on the evil route, but that's not really the case, as you can confirm now.I got a great ending. Thanks again, your other post helped me keep playing at a point where it seemed like things weren't going to end well. Read my review, if you like! CheersCongrats on getting your desired ending! I think you described perfectly my own views on the game and also the feelings the dev wanted to convey with the sharing content. The game has a lot of depth for those who want to explore different aspects of the MC's possible behavior so I encourage you to replay it and pick different options on both good and evil routes to learn more about each girl (if you can stand breaking Kat's heart, which may be difficult for some people)Thanks again, your other post helped me keep playing at a point where it seemed like things weren't going to end well. I may be one of those people. Can't stand leading the MC to hurt a character like Kat. Unless there were a redemption path after that, which makes no sense if you hurt her by preferring to be with someone else. But I think we badly miss games where you can screw things up, and then make amends, with confident characters and mature writing.(if you can stand breaking Kat's heart, which may be difficult for some people)
