DeviousEngineer; Since you feel it is okay to be rude, you get a rude response back:

Hey shit for brains; most streaming services ban users outright for any game with pornographic elements in them, even if they have a SFW function installed. The moment the streaming service, ie Twitch, finds out the game is pornographic in nature even if there is a censor active, they will ban anyone who tries to stream the game. Try searching for obviously pornographic games on Twitch, like the extremely popular Wild Life or Fallen Doll. There isn't any. How about you use your brains next time before you get rude and type something blatantly untrue.

The only reason the censor is in there, is to gate people to the subscription models. I'm still all for paying for it, but I'm not doing a subscription model. So when they have a one-off fee, I'll pay. Until then, I won't. It is as simple as that. I believe good work should get paid for, but I don't do subscription services.

That requires you to:
1] Crack the encryption on the .pak file. Not sure it is possible, but if it is, QuickBMS Zenhax forums would likely know. I tried briefly, but couldn't crack it. But then again, I'm not the obsessive type that really likes to crack encryptions and do the hex-editing or ASM analysis to crack these things.
2] The files in the .pak file are typically not compiled, but not sure for this title. I've used QuickBMS to open up a few UE4 .pak files, but they either had no encryption or someone figured out the code to decrypt it and provided it.
3] The files are in standard UE4 format, so you would have to download UE4 engine with the correct patch, that is used by this game. I think it is UE4.27? The reason you need to use the correct patch is because UE4 team frequently shadow-deletes functions and doesn't mention their deletion in the patch notes, so if you tried UE4.26 and it was using a specific new function in UE4.27, the program would crash and corrupt the file.
4] Once you load the appropriate patch, you can then usually load the file directly, and then modify it.
5] You don't have to add the file back to the .pak. The files can be manipulated by the game unpacked... they just take up monstrously more space on the hard drive. I unpacked the files once for Aven Colony, an abandoned city builder, and there was like 60 gb worth of files, after unpacking a 15 gb .pak.

Seems like a lot of work to me.

It might also be possible to use a .dll injection process, to override the need to authenticate a password. Something akin to what Durante did with their wrapper for Dark Souls 1. But I have no experience with that.

Or there are ways to crack executables. Like they've done with Fallen Doll.

I aint rude, just explaining.Fallen doll is not on twitch because only sex in game. one-off fee would not pay development and game goes extinct.

Any game with heavy sex content, gets banned. Also, newest build of Fallen Doll actually has gameplay now. Its some kind of 3rd person shooter I think, with a card system and then if you complete the main game, you get access to the Gallery, which is what the earlier versions of Fallen Doll were.

Plenty of games have done one-off fees with development and done fine. Girlvania, for example, never used a subscription model and was purchaseable by one-off fees only. Same for many Illusion games. It can work. A lot of titles on Affect3D are the same way.

Some people are willing to spend way more money on these kinds of things. I see it as monthly microtransactions, and its amazing how many people hate microtransactions in AAA. In one year, you'd spend more money supporting devs, than it would cost you to buy COD and buy 1-2 microtransactions each month. And most people hate that model. I hate that model. I prefer to pay once, and that is it. If I really like something, I'll grab a microtransaction. In D&D Online, I spent something like 180$ on it, to get new dungeons, extra bots, and some quality of life conveniences. I might be willing to drop money more than once for a pornographic dev, but I prefer to have the option to pay once.

They could charge say $60, or the equivalent of 4 months of subscription, for a one-off fee on BMT Micro or off Affect 3D's store.

Decryption just requires an AES key, and there are programs that find that pretty easily. Extracted the files and replaced the pak with them but now I'm getting an error when trying to run the game:

I just pasted the output into the "Paks" folder:

Ahh. I didn't know there were programs available that did the hard work of finding the decryption key.

So where you placed it is, the same folder structure for paks location right?

When you extracted the pak file, did you find the uproject file in there?

Yes, same folder structure. I tried replacing the output with the original pak file just to make sure and game worked fine.
The uproject file is in the "Delta Zone" folder shown above. The directory displayed in the error message is the correct directory for the file, so I think it can find the file but can't open it for whatever reason.

Try placing the contents of DeltaZone (ie config, content), in just the Paks folder. So:

DeltaZone -> Content -> Paks -> Config or Paks -> Content or Paks -> Plugins.

Tried that, got same error. Also tried compressing everything into a pak file using WinRAR and got the same error.
I moved the uproject file from DeltaZone -> Content -> Paks to Deltazone and got this error:
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 153]

Figured out clicking ok copies the error report which gives more information than a screenshot. Might be worth something to someone more knowledgeable than me.
Tried adding an empty folder to /DeltaZone/Content named Internationalization and got this:

I give up for today, but I'll continue messing around with the files and thanks to the monkey with a typewriter theory, I should eventually get it right.

I need help here.
When I type demofree into the user id textbox and I click Login (uncensored) it gives the following error message:
User ID not found.
I'm using version 0.6
Am I missing something here?...

Mistix ; The developer changes the password every release. So an old password won't work. Use the one provided on the first post of this thread.

J55555 ; In order to compress it back into a .pak, you have to use the official packer tool. As a rule, the .pak extension is not a compressed file in the normal sense; ie it isn't a .7zip, .zip, or .rar file. It requires a specific tool to compress it. It is much like with Skyrim. The .bsa file is a compression format, but requires a specific tool to compress and uncompress it. The same applies here. As such, if you compress with WinRAR and rename to .pak, UE4 will still look at it and assume it isn't a .pak file. Its kind of like the old PKUNZIP compression method, which compressed the files into an executable, which was often used for 90s games where space was a premium.

When I get back later, I'll try to analyze it and see what is up.

Now how did I not think of that. Thanks bro! </sarcasm>

I could swear I did try that password on the user id input this morning and it also didn't work. It worked now *shrugs*
Thanks!

DKOC
Thank you for the clarification. As I stated above, in reply to Baron766's post I was sure that I also tried the ver .06 password on the user id textbox, but whatever....
Also, the first post made me think that you'd have to input the username freedemo and then it would ask for a password for each released version lol.

Well, seems this game has a lot of growing up to do, content-wise and tweak-wise.
I'll just wait for a more stable version with more content.
